they charge you 25 dollars just to look at your ipod after you pay for shipping both ways and they don't fix it and won't refund your money.

So you send in a broken piece of electronics, Your i pod in this case.

Most people won't pay won't pay what it takes to fix these things so to insure the repair shop doesn't go broke they have to charge a "Diagnostic" Fee or a "minimum charge".

Just a fact of business.

Sorry to hear your i pod was not repairable.
