On May 19, 2010 I purchased some leads and paid $ 44.97. I did not receive a single email from them Digital Ad Gear after the purchase, not even an email to confirm receipt of my money and direct me as to what to do afterwards.
I normally check companies before joining but this Co. one was brought to me by my upline who is doing very well and because I had just joined him I thought this was the way he gets his leads so I joined blindly. When I started to experience problems I called my upline only to realize that he had never joined this company. He is just an affiliate.
Well, after about 10 days someone from Digital Ad Gear phoned me and told me that they were working on my issue and by the following week the campaigns would be set and running. I asked him to cancel the automatic billing and insisted that this was only a one-time purchase and he said that he would cancel it. One week after the conversation I tried to call to see what was happening but I was only getting a voicemail. I left several voice messages but I did not any response. Today I was fortunate enough to get someone on the phone who told me that about days ago they had withdrawn money again from my account (it has not yet been reflected on my account). This means that they obtained money from my account even before the completion of one month. I asked him why did they do so while I had already talked to somebody there (maybe the same person) and insisted that I did not want a recurring billing? He offered to cancel this second charge but not to refund the first one. I inquired about the campaigns and how come nothing has been done and he said that it depends on my capture page which may not be converting well. I asked him again to cancel my recurring billing and he said that he had done it.
This time I accessed their website to see if he had cancelled it and if not to cancel it myself. Through the FAQ I was directed to log in and click the "purchased products" link . I spent a long time there withiout seeing this link. I tried to call them again but as usual I ended up with a voicemail. I will have to keep on calling them.
This seems to be a one-man company who was good in advertising his company but not in running it.
