Digitalnow.tv ripoff Wilmington Delaware

I placed an order on 07/31/05. I was asked for a down payment of $149.98 which I sent by ACH check. It cleared my bank on 8/02/05. They said I would receive documents within a few business days and I have not received them as of 8/18/05. I must have called around 20 times and each time I would hold for at least an hour. I got very apprehensive and began researching Digitalnow.tv and that is how I got to your website.

I finally got through to a person on 8/15 and they said my info. had been verified and they would call me back the next day with a delivery date which would have been 8/16, I never heard anything from them, so I called back on 8/17 and was told my order had been processed and the delivery date was set for 9/07.

During this phone call I asked specifically for the name of the person I was talking to and she would only give me her first name and when asked to give me her last name she said "we are not allowed to give out our last names". I also asked for her Supervisors name and she just gave me a first name for her also. That is when I knew something was not quite right. I also asked for the CEO's name and she wouldn't give me that name at all.

After much thought about this, I decided to call the BBB and inquire as to the history of this company. I was told they had an overall unsatisfactory rating. I immediately called Digitalnow.tv and surprisingly they answered quicker than usual and I requested a refund. I was put on hold for a few minutes and the rep. came back on the phone and told me to redial the number and follow the prompts for the refund process.

I told her that I wanted her to process the refund while I was talking to her. She asked for my telephone number and told me someone would call me back. I hung up the phone and after about 15 min. the same person called me back and told me my order had been cancelled and I would receive a refund in 7 to 14 days.

I doubt I will ever see this money and I am highly dissapointed that I will not receive the merchandise that I ordered. I hope by posting this other people will not be scamed by this company. I am also going to file a complaint with the BBB as this so called company should be fined and shut down.
