I read your update as well and am happy you settled. One thing though, a matter of correction really. you are not being reported by DMCCB for being 30 days late. That's purely internal. It does become a matter of credit bur. reporting if you become 60 or more days delinquent. i'm not sure if thats the law or if thats industry practice or just DMCCB. since dmb has sent this matter to their "attorney" I have since spoken with the "attorney" and have worked out a payment schedule for 60 cents on the dollar. S instead of dmb getting the full amount as they had hoped and working out a payment plan (as their "attorney" did) they will be getting much less. Although my credit has been shot from the 30 day late hit I will be done with these fools in a little over two years and will gladly wish them and their "collection attorney's" good riddance.
