I am a member of the DAV. The VA urges you to utilize their services. It is a bunch of people working there who are not in the best interest of the Veteran, or ALL Veterans. I was supposed to be re-rated to get an increase in my pension for having disabilities connected to my war service that have been getting worse. Instead of sending me to an actual VA facility or rating center, they had someone slide a envelope under my door, directing me to a very poor, Hispanic clinic where a doctor then tried to talk me out of my claim for an increase. I was at the wrong clinic with the wrond doctor and the DAV is the one responisible for how it all happened. Most people are directed to a VA facility or real hospital that actually understands the background of vets and does not try to talk them out tof there filings for an increase in benefits. The DAV tried to rip me off and sent me to an appointment that was not in support of me and was far from the vsion of VA representatives.

My VA docotr was trained in Jaruez Mexico

AUTHOR: JD - (USA)

I support your statement and was shocked to find out the backgrounds on my VA docotors who were denying me care. Anyone can see a docotors license and insurer through the states website. Just google state medical board. My last docotor was from another country, like we dont have enough out of work docotors here in this country. Good luck, and I would suggest you seek care outside the VA. Do not let your new docotor refer you back to the VA for even a aspirian.
