Discovery Cruise Line RIPOFF DISHONEST FALSE ADVERTISEMENT DIRTY SHIP Miami Florida

This is not a cruise---it is a means of daily ferry transportation for the Bahamian citizens to utilize for transport to/from south Florida. The ship has got to be about 40-50 years old and the pictures on the website are not photos from the actual ship that you travel on and neither is the food that is listed/shown on the website provided on the menu. The staff was not professional, the bar waiters/waitress were annoying, the entire ship smelled as though the plumbing was backed up. They paint over the rooms and walls to make the ship look clean, but once you look at the carpet you see the real deal. The floors looked as though no one has ever cleaned the carpet. The only good thing was the fact that we only had to endure the ride for 5 hours each way and once we arrived in Freeport there was nothing to do. It was like a ghost town.


I don't know what was worse being in Freeport or getting back on the nasty ship. Please, Please, Please do not book this cruise!!!! You will be highly disappointed and insulted with yourself for making the decision to travel this cruise. We paid almost $200 per person and felt like we were robbed. Please, Please, Please take heed to each of these reviews with the exception of the one that thought it was okay. I actually called the cruise line to complain and try to get our money back and the customer service manager told me that they have never had any complaints. I know that is a lie.....
