When we originally signed up with Dish Network, we chose the 12 month price gaurantee, so when the installer comes by, shows us the promotion online for a 24 month price guarantee, we said, great - it's the same thing with HD receiver. 2 year contract came with HD, 1 yr didn't, same monthly payment.
As we find out, the promotion after 1 year is $ 24.95 monthly, second year $ 40.00 monthly. I reviewed the promotion, states clearly that it is $ 24.95 monthly and review the service contract that we signed, it had nothing to do with price increase to $ 40.00 monthly.
We called customer service, this is what they told us and please read carefully:
We apologize for the inconvenience, BUT although the purchase agreement did not state any price increase, the small print says "We reserve the right to increase the price at anytime during the term of your contract"....
THIS IS A SCAM! AN ABSOLUTE SCAM and I'm sure I'm not the only one! There's probably millions of people going through this same issue... Any legal company want easy money, this is it! False advertisement!!

Thanks Dish Network, but when we called customer service twice to debate this issue, they should of taken care of it and honored the promotion. It's just bad business to increase the price without warning.
