Diversified Adjustment Services Multiple calls to my home, information for ex-husband, hasn't lived here 7 years, rude when asked them to stop calling Coon Rapids, Fridley Minnesota

I received multiple calls from a company that doesn't identify themselves and asks for my ex-husband to return a call to them regarding very important business. My ex hasn't lived her for over 7 years. We don't communicate so I would have no manner or reason to relay a message or expect he would be giving out my phone number for anything. How and why would a company get my number and repeately call me? One call is annoying, two calls are frustrating, three calls are harassment. I called the company, Lewis identified himself, and I politely said who I was and that I wanted no more calls to come to my home from them. Clearly, from the mumblings of the person on the other end repeating my name and then saying the name of my ex (that I hadn't given out), he had pulled up a record. He asked me for my phone number and, knowing not to give out personal information unnecessarily, I just said, stop calling the number you have on record. He cut off what I was saying, yelled at me saying how would he know what number I was calling from and when I repeated politely that I wanted the calls to stop....he yelled something else and rudely hung up. I called again to the number and another gentleman answered. I asked for the name of the company. I was told Diversified Adjustment Services. I gave this person no information. He asked me if I was just speaking to Lewis so clearly he was sitting with the man that had been rude to me and they both had my phone and name in front of them. I don't know how they have my phone number as it is supposed to be blocked by Verizon but they had it and knew it and there was no reason for the first person answering to have been so rude and unprofessional.

I wouldn't pay off a debt with these people or seek them out to collect a debt if that is how their company treats a person calling them.
