About a year and a half ago I purchased a DivTag template. It seemed relatively easy to install and offered many options the old Weebly platform didn't.
Over the next few months, I found myself purchasing several more only to then encounter numerous problems all detailed in great length here these Weebly DivTag Templates.
I inquired if they offered a Parallax website to which Jeremy replied he had no idea what I was talking about. That was my first clue to run for this hills. Shame on me.
I then emailed him several examples of a Parallax website.
He directed me to the Scrollboard Template. Words can't begin to describe the nightmare that is this template. First notice the downward circle on the homepage of the template. I purchased this template belieivng this icon would be there and there would be directions on how to code this image to jump down to the next page. There wasn't anything that even remotely referenced this. And when I was ble to determine how to do this - it didn't work all the time. Sometimes it would forward to a slide but sadly most times it wouldn't. There were numerous other problems that again are all detailed here.
Most recently - with Weebly's new updated platform and shopping cart - DivTag Templates has taken a turn for the worse. Most of the templates I purchased -- including the ones that offered a supposed "Life Time Warranty" -- and I paid a premium for -- no longer work with Weebly's new platform.
Better still DivTag Templates is completely aware of this as they recently posted on their Facebook page
"Weebly Templates - DivTag Hi Cheri, Some of the themes have been retired because the design is a bit outdated, while others may no longer work with Weebly's new platform. If you don't remember what you have we may be able to look up your record if the purchase was made within 2 years. If you can provide us with your purchase email address, we can check that for you - Connieâ¨
March 3 at 4:43pm"
Since February 20, 2014 I have sent 3 emails requesting new templates to download in an effort to resolve the plethora of problems I'm having with these templates. I have no been rude. I have not used foul language although they do in fact to deserve to be called every name under the same. Furthemore, as stated and as I have some certificate for - I paid a premium for Life Time Support that was to provide a replacement template for any and all updates to the Weebly platform. Not only have DivTag Templates repeatedly ignored my requests, yesterday when I posted on their Facebook page asking for assistance...they deleted my comment and better still blocked me from further commenting. Today I logged into a friend's account and commented again - please help. I've been emailing, you deleted me comment and blocked me - I paid for something and I need this fixed.
Can you guess what DivTag templates did? Yes you guessed it - they deleted that comment and blocked my friend's account, too.
Again - I didn't curse. I wasn't rude. I just asked for advice - I also made sure to keep screen grabs of my posts confirming my comments.
I can only guess they did this as I voiced my concerns with their templates in the Weebly Forums here weeblyforums.com/topic/ripped-off-by-divtagtemplates/. It was a very odd string of events with several very suspicious people coming forward to provide their review of DivTag Templates. People who claimed to be web developers, which if they in fact were - they wouldn't be purchasing a template.
It was after this, DivTag Template also removed my website from their list of customer showcase websites.
Another thing to note - DivTag Templates has done a pretty darn good job of deceiving online but going so fars as to great a website of their templates that gives the impression it's done by someone not related at all to DivTag. It's called Weebly Themes Review. The entire website - numerous pages - raves about how wonderful Weebly DivTag Templates are
weeblythemesreview.weebly.com/
I'm also baffled how this company has yet to receive a cease and desist order from Weebly as DivTag Templates uses Weebly's name in everything including naming themselves Weebly Templates on Facebook facebook.com/WeeblyTemplates Twitter etc.
Overall, Connie & Jeremy Wong with DivTag Templates are complete, total petty, impish scam artists. And if they aren't why specifically are they not repling to emails? One could easily say oh we didn't get the email - it must have gone to our spam folder. However, the minute you start deleting my Facebook comments and then blocking me - that's when you know they received my emails and instead of resovling a problem in a tactful and professional manner opt to repeatedly retaliate and be unprofessional.
With business tractis like this - it will be surprising if this company stays in business.

FYI - You will find trolls, likely wong himself using a proxy IP and fake usernames, posting as an artificial counter to try and conceal the facts, that digtagtemplates.com isainternet SCAM run by thieves jeremy and connie wong
Hi thief wong - thought all those other complaints on WeeblyForums.com would never be seen again huh? You were very wong. I really hope someday you and your wife, con-me, both go to prison for fraud.

#3 Consumer Comment
divtagtemplates.com is a SCAM run by thieves and con artists.

This is a fair warning to anyone considering buying any themes or templates from divtagtemplates. I have spent over $200 on 3 templates and 4 plugins with them. Here are the TRUE facts about divtag products: their products are defective and do not work properly with weebly. The headers chronically FAIL. You cannot use the drop and drag header at all. Cannot modify text at all. On 2 of my 3 themes, the navigation disappears on pages with “drop and drag” headers, and also on pages with medium headers selected.
Their tutorials are incorrect.
Not even one of the 4 plugins was compatible with weebly.
I spent literally: DAYS, trying to resolve the numerous constant issues after testing over and over to confirm the issues. I sent the clear screenshots of errors verifying the severe bugs. Divtagtemplates simply ignored my emails. I offered to let them login to my weebly pro account; they declined. I lost well over $2,000 in TIME solely because I was another Victim of the digtagtemplates.com SCAM.
These two crooks did NOT offer support; they just recited the classic lie about how “no one else has any problems, just you!” Of course that is the standard pitch from any deceptive company.
I was charged to update a theme not even 12 days after the year update period went by, even though the update was NEVER sengt to me months after it ad been released. They made sure to send me scores of emails about selling me more stuff [which I dreadfully did], by not ONCE was there an emails notify me off an update which had been available for months. Instead of comping the "update fee of $5.00, they insisted on hitting me for $5.00 on paypal, even as I was spending another $105.00 with them. I call that simply: low class and very insulting.
Bottom line: divtagtemplates totally RIPPED ME OFF! This company consists of a couple of crooks and liars. Do NOT buy anything they offer. I promise you will lose days of time and wind up wanting to punch your screen with incredible frustration! Although they look beautiful; trust me they do NOT work. Like a Ferrari with a blown engine.
mr. wong cites how many views he has on youtube. He talks about his credentials, as if he has any. Most con men do the same. Of course I could get 3,000 views in a few weeks on any YT channel with addons avaiable in Chrome that drip feed "views" by auto page reloads. Buying fraudbook, a/k/a facebook, "fans" runs anout $10 per 1,000 FAKE fans. Or just use a bot to produce all the phony fans and likes on FB you wish.
Who do you think you are kidding - wong?? We are not all idiots like your wife and you.
mr. wong and his wife con-me (whoops, typo: "connie") wong both need to pursue their true calling: selling "runs good!" POS cars at a cheap car lot in the ghetto somewhere. His templates and addons are as utterly DEFECTIVE as any "runs good!" car. Count on wong to lie like hell. His business is in big trouble.
Do NOT buy from these people - you WILL regret it!

Innacurate Misleading Info Again Provided by DivTag Templates
AUTHOR: karen - ()
SUBMITTED: Saturday, March 08, 2014
FACT: I purchased a Weebly DivTag Paperclip template with a LIFETIME certificate. I paid a premium for this. This premium Lifetime certificate was to provide lifetime support of this template along with any updates. To date I have not received any of the updates or any support as substantiated in the rebuttal from Jeremy Wong at DivTag Templates.
FACT: Of the 10 websites featured on my website...only 3 are DivTag Templates. Thus Jeremy's comment I am "proudly using his templates" is false and misleading. Furthermore, I purchased a TEMPLATE - essentially a box of Lego's. It is I who made it look visually appealing - not DivTag. Thus I have a right to sell my work. And again - only 3 of the websites featured on my site are a DivTag Template. The other's are Weebly's own templates or Bamboo Studio who does in fact provide lifetime support.
FACT: Gulfside Marine was done roughly a year and a half ago with DivTag's Framework Template. To date this website has not been published and is still in the "coming soon" stage. My business website was also done on this template around a year and a half ago as well. In order for me to re-use any of these templates though - the template has to be exported and then imported back into Weebly's platform. When I try to re-import DivTag's Framework template back into Weebly - Weebly continually rejects the DivTag Template file. When I circled back with Weebly - they said this DivTag Framework template file can no longer work on their platform without extensive coding being redone. Weebly said because my website is already live and has been live for so long - AND I haven't made extensive changes to it - that's why it's still able to work on their platform.
FACT: Another website using the DivTag template was Leoma Lovegrove - it was the Scrollboard template. Notice the arrow on the homepage of this DivTag's Preview website scrollboardtemplatedemo.weebly.com/ This is the preview of what the site should look like and work after you purchase it. When you click the downward arrow - it takes you to the next page. When you're on the 2nd page/slide the navitgation now pops up. From the nav bar on the second slide you can now move around to other slides on the site. I purchased this template based on this. Based on the arrow scrolling to the second page, based on the nav bar appearing on the 2nd page/slide and working. Not only was the arrow not included in the template neither were any directions on how to program this arrow if I copied or (or used another image) to get to the second page/slide. Yes you can scroll but scrolling website are still not that intuitive for people to know what to do - especially an older clientele like Leoma has. When I did eventually figured it out - it rarely worked. Meaning you would click the downward arrow and it did nothing. Also the nav bar on the 2nd page/slide would sometimes not appear or worse not work either. It was for these reasons the website had to completely redone the end of October because this Scrollboard template didn't work as described in writing or visually. As for the mobile version - it was beyond jacked up. It didn't recognize the scroll and images were overlapping.
FACT: Weebly updated their platform in November when they launched a new shopping cart. The template Leoma's newly revised site is now on is the DivTag Paperclip template. I purchased the Paperclip DivTag Template July 30,2013. At this time the Paperclip template was able to be exported and reimported easily as described above - after all Weebly hadn't updated their platform yet. As the new shopping cart function wasn't yet created - this site has the old shopping cart. And there's where the problems started. This new website with the Paperclip DivTag Template -- just for Leoma's site though - will not allow me to switch it to the new Weebly shopping cart. Weebly is uncertain why - again they cited issues with the DivTag Paperclip template not being able to switch off the legacy shopping cart and switch over to the new shopping cart.
FACT: It was during this time I was creating a new website for Scott's World of Golf - again with the Paperclip template that I purcahsed July 30, 2013 with a LIFETIME certificate. And it was during this time that Weebly updated their platform. Here are the problems I encountered with this template (pleasse note I no longer work with them and they have since completely ruined the beautiful site I created so visually it's now horrible but these are still the issues with the template):
3-pop up plugin
On the home page – no where is it posted in the directions nor am I able to locate in the HTML anywhere how to increase the font size or change the type of font.
Footer
Highlighted links in the footer are a different color, manually changing them to the color you want does nothing, nothing in the directions on where to do this nor was I able to locate this in the HTML by editing what appeared to be footer links.
Bold
Highlighing text and bolding it does nothing.
Social Media Icons
Notice the social media icons - there’s no Instagram icon. When I asked if they had any plans to add an Instagram icon, Connie told me no.
Meet Our Staff Page
scottsworldofgolf.com/meet-our-staff.html
Notice the block of copy on the right – you can’t customize it from page to page – if you have copy in that block and add another page – it has to be the same copy. If you use the right column like I have then want to add a left column on another page – you also get the same copy – you can’t alter it form page to page or left to right. Also notice the highlighted links – the color is gray and again no info anywhere how to change the links – highlighting the copy or revising in the HTML for what appears to be this does nothing.
Blog Template
I made the mistake of buying the template to jazz up the look of the blog – it was a total waste of money. It’s supposed to be compatible with every template but it literally cut off images and made the blog space more narrow.
FACT: Another site using this Paperclip template is Haley & The Hound haleyandthehound.com/
I had already re-uploaded this template several times as a blank copy so I could resue. I didn't switch on the shopping cart function until AFTER Weebly updated their platform. Thus far we have not had issues with this site using the template here. HOWEVER...notice the social media icons on this template – at the top – and grey – very small. This same template was used for this website leomalovegrove.com/ yet no icons. Know why? For some strange reason the ability to add the icons is not active on the same template when used again. It’s literally a button that is either turned on or off but for some reason the button is missing completely when the template was used again for another website. Again - Leoma's site was started on before Weebly updated their platform. I'm unable to export the file and then re-import the Paperclip as again Weebly keeps rejecting the file.
FACT: These are the issues I had with the Cameleon template. DivTag Cameleon Theme was also purchased BEFORE Weebly updated their platform in November.
Mobile Version
Footer doesn’t display in the mobile version
Once view full website is clicked – unable to get back to mobile version of website – even after closing window and clearing smartphone cache
Hover Links
Unable to locate in directions how to change the link/hover colors in the right (or left) column nor the footer
Copyright Font
Unable to locate in directions how to change the copyright font and hover/link colors
Bold
Doesn’t work – I hight word – the B shades like it will bold the copy but it doesn’t
Better still – they now have left hand and right hand columns to add info – thing is they do NOT tell you before you buy that this info is static – meaning EVERY page you add a left column it will have the same info – you can NOT change it per page. Better still if you want to now use a right hand column – it merely takes your left hand column info into it – you can’t customize it. If you can - there's nothing in my directions that states how to do this.
FACT: Me commenting over a year ago on their Facebook page regarding SEO has absolutely nothing to do with any of the issues with the Weebly DivTag Templates as noted above.
FACT: Weebly updated their platform in Novebmer - making null and void re-importing most of the DivTag templates I purcahsed BEFORE this plaform update.
FACT: The only reply I've gotten from Jeremy Wong at Weebly DivTag Templates about this was his email late last night copied below.
1) Please note in the email he he confirms he's aware of the completely accurate statements I and numerous others encountered Weebly DivTag Templates. There are outlined in great detail here and here on Weebly Forums.
Thus he was monitoring all along the problems I as well as other encountered and instead of being a reliable and professional business person - he did not opt to resolve a problem but instead repeatedly ignored my requests and blocked me from Facebook when I tried yet again to resolve a problem
2) Most importantly and telling about Jeremy's Wong's email is he replied to my receipt of the LIFETIME purchase. Thus he's fully aware of the LIFETIME purchse but for unknown reasons refuses to provide what I purchased.
Therefore I just confirmed he's scamming people. I paid for something and haven't received it. He's well aware of it and replied why he chose to ignore it. That's no slander - that's call exposing someone's lies.
3) The below comes off as arrogant and threatning. I have nothing to hide as I've outlined in great detail here. Weebly updated their platform. I've experienced numerous problems before the update and now more since the update. A professional and astute business person would take the mere 5 minutes to resend templates but instead chose to repeatedly ignore requests to resolve a problem. Better still confirmed he blocked me on Facebook and has now waisted coutless hours making a bad situation worse.
Do let that marinate as it's great insight to his character...or should I say lack thereof...

To:
Karen,
I just find it quite interesting how you publicly slander us in Weebly Forums, while you are continuously using our products, and even asking for updates. If you are so dissatisfied with our products and think that they are defective and does not perform, why are you continuously using our products to serve your clients? If you are asking for updates and are continuing to use our product, why are you claiming that our products don't work in public?
Moreover, if your claims that our products were true, why are you using our template for your own website, and even promoting your web services using several examples of client work which are obviously built using our templates?
In all honesty, I'm a bit confused here?
While I can't stop you if you choose to file public complaints against us. In such an event, we would be asked by BBB or Rip Off Report to respond accordingly, in which case it's fair groundsto disclose your site publicly which will of course, will show readers that you and your clients are using our products.

Despite filing this report, Karen Moran is still proudly using our products
AUTHOR: DivTag Templates - ()
SUBMITTED: Friday, March 07, 2014
Dear Reader,
The author / complainant of this report (Ms. Karen Moran), who claims that our business is deceptive and that our products do not perform, is in actual fact, proudly using our products on her own website, and she is also using our products to sell website design services to her clients.
The integrity and merits of this complaint are questionable, as if Ms. Karen Moran is honestly and genuinely dissatisfied with our products and claims that they do not work, we're slightly confused as to why she is still using them to run her business. Worst yet, offering our products to her clients to earn revenues.
Our logical and rational conclusion, is that:
1) She is either intentionally misguiding her clients while running her businesses using our, as she implies, faulty products; or
2) She is making claims against our business while satisfied with our products, clearly demonstrated by Ms. Karen Moran still actively using and purchasing our products on an ongoing basis.
Ms. Karen Moran's website is magnetsocialmedia.com/ which is using our Framework template (frameworkmltemplatedemo.weebly.com/)
On her website design services page (magnetsocialmedia.com/web-design.html), she is showcasing some of her projects that she has done for clients, using a few of our templates.
The main reason why we ceased all communications with Ms. Karen Moran is that she has publicy publicly slandered and made inaccurate accusations about us and our business. Instead of publicly fighting her apparent dissatisfaction with our products (while she continues to purchase from us and use them, which I'm sure she has her own reasons for doing so), and expending time and energy in doing so, we actively choose to channel our energy to better serve other customers who wants to be supported, and to continue to create new, innovative products. We've also banned her activities on our Facebook page as her recent Facebook posts, as we mentioned, have been counter productive.
In fact, we were just reviewing our Facebook activities history and noticed that Ms. Karen Moran left a message just over a year ago, answering another participant's question about SEO, where she said, "... it was shortly after I transferred to the DivTag [template] that my new site finally received Googles coveted sitelinks..." This message to the person posing a question, in our view, was in direct support of our products (also suggesting that the template that she is using worked).
In any case, for those who are reading this message, feel free to visit Ms. Moran's website and you will see that it is in fact built with our products. Visit her portfolio page and you will also see that she is actively using our products to build some of her clients' websites (in which she charges them a reasonable fee, we presume).
The only rational and logical conclusion we can draw from this, is that Ms. Moran is doing "just fine" with our products.
With regards,
Jeremy and Connie
