To make a long story short a few years ago I bought a used car at Cityline Auto Sales when they were located in Ashby Mass. It was the biggest mistake I could have made.

The car required a new transmission at a cost of $7,000. Not only that the car was flood damaged. Apparently it had been cleaned out because there was no residue on the inside.

The owner Doug had it listed as a storm car -- how vague is that-- and assured me it had minor damage that is easily repairable.

Upon contacting the Mass Attorney Generals office I discovered there were about 6 or 7 other complaints of the same nature against him. To make it harder to sue him I also discovered the corporation changes names every 3 or 4 years. Right after I was victimized the company was moving to New Hampshire and the corporation was changing names! The Cityline headline stays but it is a DBA.

Upon calling all I got was B.S. and a threat to have his lawyers sic me. I found out his attorneys are criminal defense how appropriate! Apparently there seems to be a pattern here. A warning to other car shoppers in the Mass, N.H., area avoid this dealership!!!!
