DMI Movers, DMI Transporters Shawn: Supervisor at D.M.I Mover Simi Valley California

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR CROSS COUNTRY MOVE NOW OR EVER! UNDERCOVER BOSS NEEDS TO PAY THIS COMPANY A VISIT.

After being referred to this company we were displeased with their service. We informed D.M.I our move date however, we recieved a phone call from the dispather on duty Adam, 6 days earlier then our delivery date warning us that our furniture was going to be delivered within a 24 hour period when our new place of residence was not ready yet. If the furniture could not be delivered at that time frame they were going to take it to New York and store it for a month due to not having a driver avaliable to deliver our items after being told by Elmer, the truck driver and Briseida, a customer service representative that our furniture would be delivered on a specific date.

Can you imagine how up set we were? Once we were transferred to the supervisor of the day , Shawn to resolve the matter, he was very unpleasant; sarcastic with us as one of his clients about having the furniture delivered in a timely manner, and defensive when it came to resolving the issue at hand. Shawn was not being professional at all yelling over the customer when trying to inform him about the issue at hand.

Shawn suggested that we should make arrangments with the apartment complex to put our furniture inside the apartment ( IT WAS NOT READY DUE TO THE PREVIOUS TENANTS JUST HAD MOVED OUT OF THE LOCATION) or rent a storage unit until our apartment is ready which would cost us additional money. Mind you Briseida was well aware of why we wanted to move in on the particular date because of the apartment complex having to repair the apartment unit prior to our arrival.

We now face having to rent a storage unit until our apartment is ready, renting a moving truck to move our furniture into our unit, and hiring movers to move our belongings for us. When we informed Shawn that we would contact The Better Business Bureau he told us that he would call them himself! 

Some of the staff members are far from professional. When you call there to follow up with them regarding your move of course this is after they take your money, they answer the phone as if it was their personal phone line, " who is this? " with an attitude. Not to mention before you get transferred to whom ever you are looking to speak to, the staff juggles the phone lines and places you on hold for periods of times before finally transfering you to the extension that you requested for to begin with.  

BOTTOMLINE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! SAVE YOURSELVES THE TIME AND ENERGY!
