I worked for Dolce from August 2013 to March 2014. I was consistently praised for how many clients I retained. I only got in trouble once because I was having a very rough day and came in crying. My director, who was always very kind, wrote me up for having a "bad attitude" and bringing person issues into work. OK I understand that. This happened in November. I was never talked to about the situation again. 

I started being bullied by another coworker just after January 1, 2014, and gradually got worse every day. The person who was bullying me decided to spread a lie about my religious beliefs claiming I "cast a spell on her." Really?! I heard about this lie on Thursday March 6, 2014. After I heard about this, I decided I needed to speak with someone higher up than my director, Tara Cruz, so I spoke with Sarah Colmes. I was in tears and absolutely devastated someone would use my beliefs against me in such a horrific way. Sarah did nothing! 

That same day, Tara came in for two random sessions. She was actually malicious to me in front of the room her client was in! She told me to "drop the attitude" which i did not have, i had actually asked her, with a smile, how she was. She then continuously and repeatedly asked me in a very condescending tone and eye brows furrowed if I was OK. What???? 

At this point she had no idea I knew about the lie her friend and coworker who she supervised started about me. The next day on Friday March, 7, I was sent a text message from Tara telling me to come in for a meeting an hour before my shift. I went in obviously wondering what was going on, and Tara was again mean, rude and disrespectful to me claiming I was not adhering to the rules, this was a first for me, I had a bad attitude, when I was nothing but happy and cheerful, and excessive absenteeism, which is incorrect because she forced me to take a week and a half off work due to a medical condition. Tara also claimed i had been written up multiple times for these issues and that she had my signatures on these other alleged write ups. If thats the case, my name was forged. She then proceeded to fire me. When I asked for examples for these reasons, she had 0 valid reasons. 

I asked for my termination paperwork, I was told it would be mailed to me. I'm still fighting to get it along with my personnel file. I sent a written request asking for these within 5 business days. I still have received nothing. I have emailed HR multiple times and have only received one email in return. I still have the email.

I honestly can say I know beyond a shadow of a doubt I was fired because of that lie about my religion! I was one of the top female therapists there and one of the most requested. 

I do have multiple witnesses as well, including someone letting me know, I was the topic of discussion the day I got fired in a department meeting, and someone who was there when the lie was started.

Nice one sided story...

It is amazing how one-sided this report is.

You had "personal" issues in November and said you would never mention it again.  Okay, but what if your attitude still showed it.

As for the "attitdude" when she came to observe you.  So you were upset enough to go to the top people, and that same day she comes in and "observes" you.  Yet you are going to claim that you had no attitude...yea with what you wrote doesn't seem likely.

Then you say they "forced" you to take time off because of a medical condition.  So what was this medical condition?  Would this "condition" be considered contageous, could it effect the people you are treating?  If the answer to either of those is YES, then not only did they have a right to request you take time off, YOU should have had the responsibility to do it without them asking.

Then we get to the firing.   Interesting how when you asked for reasons, you stated that they had 0 "valid" reasons.  Just because YOU don't think they are valid doesn't make it so. 

You said you asked HR for your files several times and received nothing.  Well nothing except an e-mail that you still have.  So what did this e-mail state?

By the way...it is pretty much standard when someone gets fired in a business that they are the "topic of discussion" for a day or two afterwards.  Nothing sinister..just standard office gossip. 

But why would you be so worried about this anyways?  If you are as good as you say, you have a huge client list that you can take anywhere and get hired by another place.   Or perhaps even open up your own spa.
