I worked for Dollar Tree for several years as a store manager. After finally leaving the company, I got absolutely no response from upper management thanking me for my time served. Of course my great store associates threw me a great going away party because unlike a billion dollar corporation, they actually could take some of their barely mim wage pay to do so. could go on and on about how this company is completely disorganized and treats their store level employees with absolute disrespect, but I have a new life with a great company and I really do want to waste any more time.
All I have to say is just walk into a Dollar Tree and open your eyes. All the stores I see don't have enough man power to make these stores look even shopable, all the while the corporation is making record profits on the backs of the store employees. The only way to stop this sort of thing is to not work and shop these stores because this company only cares about making money, nothing else.
DO NOT SHOP OR WORK AT DOLLAR TREE!!!!!

Did you seriously waste space on this site to say you didn't get a "thank you"?! Is our society so spoiled that you feel you have the right to cry to the world that you are so unappreciated? If it was so bad, why did you stay for "several years"? The answer is that they were giving you a paycheck. You were not doing them any favors that you needed "thanked" for. You were offering them a service and you were getting paid for it. If it hurts your feelings, put a helmet on! This site is for legite ripoffs. Go cry somewhere else!

What do You Expect from A Store Who Mainly sells products made by Slave labor ( China)

Well, what do you expect?
Slavery works for these folks.
They get an incredible amount of cheap products to sell to other wage slaves here in the US who can't afford quality American-made stuff anymore because they don't have the kind of jobs they used to.
So they hire minimum wage slaves desperate for work only to find out that working here won't cover all their bills and they might even make less than a factory manager in China in a prison slave labor camp.
As long as their are desperate and poor people and people who enslave them, you will have this sort of abuse.
It is the same in the private security contracting industry.
As long as you have people wanting to exploit hookers, you will have pimps.
