donna belle i called to cancel the subscription within the 14 day period and they cancelled my order but still charged my card!! CO Englewood CO

ok so i was at a vulnerable point when i came across an ad for donna belle serum free sample just pay shipping.  after reading celebrity testimonials from oprah and ellen and sandra bullock, i decided ok why not.  it was either that or buy a pack of cigs and resume smoking.  i decided to get rid of the bags under my  eyes and ordered the serum and cream for $9.96 shipping and handling.  i should've researched it first but i didnt.  low and behold there was a review about what a rip off the company is.  i then proceeded to read the terms and conditions to find out that if i didnt cancel, they were going to charge my card and send me product.  OH NO i thought to myself.  i'm going to call them first thing in the morning and cancel my subscription so no further charges would be made to my card.  i spoke to a representative named Kyla.  i told her that i was calling them to cancel my subscription to the product and that i had not even received the product yet.  instead of doing as i requested, she tried to offer me a discount on future orders!  i said "NO, i'm calling to cancel any future orders and charges to my card!!"  i was infuriated at this point because kyla was not listening to me.  at the end she told me i was going to get a cancellation email and that there was no refund to be given.  i received the cancellation email, my card was charged, but she cancelled the shipment of the trial sample cream and serum!!  so i am out $9.96!! but better than getting charged hundreds of dollars later on and not being able to get a refund.  lesson to be learned:  research the terms before you give your credit card info.
