Ordered some books from Doubleday Book Club. When I received the books I discovered that they had shipped me one that was not ordered and didn't ship one that I had ordered. Emailed them about the error and what to do with the sook shipped in error. Received back an email that the corredt book would be shipped and to ignore the charges for the book sent in error. Kept recieving bills for the book and kept asking them what to do with the one shipped in error. After months of this they finally gave me an address to return the book to. To this date they are still billing for the book sent in error. In fact they now have a collection agency sending me letters threating to ruin my credit unless I pay for the book that was sent back to them.

How to get your money back on wrong book

AUTHOR: Deborah - (U.S.A.)

One any of the invoices that Doubleday book club has sent you, there is on the back an address where you can send the book back to. You must include your name, account number and address. I have been a member of this club for some time and on occasion I have ordered a book by mistake. I have simply returned to the company and they have credited my visa immediately. You do have to pay shipping charges to ship it back, but I send it back UPS ground rate which is less than $5.00. It is very simple to do. I have found over the two years belonging to the club that they have had great deals, including free shipping for buying 2 books at one time, etc. I can order books before they are released and the day they are released it is shipped right to me. I love this company, have NEVER had problems in returning books to them, you just need to follow the instructions on the back of the invoice.
