I saw a job on the internet as a secret shopper and applied by phone. While still on the call, the representative sped through a disclaimer that I abruptly made her repeat. There is a charge for being part of the team and a secondary party in which another charge is placed. I immediately stated that I wanted her to cancel both accounts. She accepted and tried to persuade me to remain on the team. I said no and finished the call. 4 months later, I realized there was an unknown transaction of 49.95. Looking back at the charges, I found dates of these random transactions 11/23, 12/14, 01/07 ,01/28, 02/18, 03/10,and 03/31 all had a charge of 49.95. I called my Credit Union and had my card cancelled. Next I called the company and a different representative came on the line. The person kept saying "I'm sorry the previous person did not cancel the secondary charges and there is no record of you asking for the cancellation. Would you like a discount to make up for the charges?" I refused this discount time and time again since it would leave the account open. "I would like to speak to your manager" "I'm sorry but we do not have a manager at this location...(later on in the conversation)...let me speak to my supervisor a moment"

 They gave me a refund confirmation for one transaction and a cancellation confirmation. I asked to file a complaint and they said they could not do that from their location.
