Drive Financial I send them payments, they harass me; I mailed my payment in last week, and I was just informed that my account is in collections, and they are going to keep calling. I can see if I didn't have the money; but, I mailed in the payment. Dallas Texas

This is my second time dealing with Drive Financial. They do not train their customer service employees with such professionalism at all. The customer service reps acts as if is their money, and they have no regard for the customers.

I hate talking to the phone with them, because they make me very mad, and always end up cursing them, and hanging up the phone.

I mailed in my payment, and they still harass me. I am currently working to see what I can do about having another financial institution to finance my car; I can't stand dealing with them.

If they take my car, after I mailed my payment; they really are going to have hell on their hands; I'm going on Judge Mathis and file for emotional distress, pain and suffering, and illegal repossession.

They will make you want to have a nervous breakdown; I've never seen anything like this in my life, and something must be done with them; they should be shut down for business forever.

I Beg To Differ

AUTHOR: Sherry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 02, 2008

I have very different views on the person stating that "Drive Financial wouldn't call if you make your payments on time". I just purchased a car that was picked up and financed through these people. I was to make my First payment Dec 10th, 2007. These people called my house Thanksgiving Day requesting a payment to be made over the phone with a debit or credit card. My payment wasn't even due yet, so I told her that I will make the payment when the payment comes due and not close to a month before it's due. Of course that resulted in a hang-up.

They called my house and my job several times a day over the course of the next month. Regardless of if you make the payments on time or not, they will still call several times a day wanting their money. Another problem with these people too, is the fact that they never post your payment for 30 days after they have recieved it, but still charge you the outlandish late fee's because it was not posted to the account.....to me, that alone should be illegal!

TRY TELLING THE WHOLE STORY

AUTHOR: Billcoll01 - (U.S.A.)

There is no way they are calling you daily if you are current on the acct. If you are behind, they have a right to chase their money. By the way, Drive Financial is a sub-prime lender which means you have a shady history of paying back loans or no history at all. I dont blame them for watching their investment.

Its sad that some people have to bite off more than they can chew over and over again & want to blame the banks for loaning them the money and or trying to get these people to honor their end of the contract.

Whats worse is I used to work for a sub-prime auto lender and we would give someone an extention on the note to bring them current & 9 times out of 10 they would skip the next payment & go right back to collections. They think its great until they finish the contracted payments & still owe 500.00 or more.

My advise, make a friend at Drives cust serv line build a payment history with them for a couple months then ask for an extention
REMEMBER: If you pay ontime, or close to it, THEY WILL NOT CALL!!

You could always make your payments on time and get caught up. Surely they are not calling you because you have a stellar - early pay - reputation.

Judge Mathis?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 29, 2007

""I'm going on Judge Mathis and file for emotional distress, pain and suffering, and illegal repossession.""

Judge Mathis is a tv show where the parties agree to binding arbitration with Mathis as the arbiter.

This matter will NOT be on Judge Mathis unless THEY agree to Mathis as the arbiter. Don't hold your breath, it's not gonna happen.

Your remedy is to address the court of jurisdiction in your locale.

Good luck.

As of Friday, November 30, 2007, I am going to write a letter to my congressman, and senator from the State of Virginia, and the congressman, and senator where Drive Financial is located. I'm going to refer them to this website.

They have to be stopped with this madness.
