What a joke this company is! I worked there a little over a year and in that time only ONE person got promoted out of an office of 30! O N E! And once they became a "manager"- guess what- back into the field! Sucks when you"ve worked so hard... What kind of loser company is this- you put in 75+ hours every week and you walk away with a smaller paycheck than a 15 year old flipping burgers at Burger King.

I have to say quitting, or as the brain washed posse would like to say, "giving up on myself", was the best move I ever made. I have a job where the earning potential is better and more likely to even happen and I'm happy. At DS Max we were all tought to think the everyday working person or professional as an idiot and a puppet of society while us door to door sales people were such incredible minds. Ok, have another!

Ever wonder why there are only "VP's" and no President? Who's really running the show? As for independent distributor, where was the independance because I sure didn't feel independant. How about you?

DS Max is a great place for those who missed out on the frat house/ sorority life in college- it comes with instant friends and everything!

A great waste of time

AUTHOR: Jane - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 22, 2005

I worked as an intern for this company for a summer after my junior year of college. The only good thing I got out of this experience was that I could warn all my friends graduating to look for these warning signs when they went to find a job. "ENTRY LEVEL SPORTS MARKETING...COLLEGE GRADS WANTED" big red flags should go up. Apparently the only degree in advertising these people got was in FALSE ADVERTISING. The are decieving because they only way they can get you in their door is to trick you into thing you're going to be working for this great sports marketing company, which I discovered I never even worked remotely close to a sports team what so ever.

What a waste of time, money, and mostly energy. The brainwash you into believing this works, and your right I watched my manager in the three months I was there for from hiring people to being out in the field to completely quitting. Wasted his time I'm sure.

The only reason why people report these companies is to warn others that if knocking on doors and walking around strange neighborhoods is something you find exhilerating and worht while by all means go right ahead. That's what ENTRY LEVEL SPORTS MARKETING...COLLEGE GRADS WANTED" means to these companies. You'll learn how to sell and B.S. to people good, and you'll also learn how to piss people off. How about the fact they don't get permits to solicit and then the cops are busting you, but you didn't pick the territory.

Hey if this sounds like fun go ahead JUICE it up with these complete wastes of life that settle for this job because they don't think they can do any better, and in some cases maybe the can't, but don't criticize those who are only helping warn people that if this isn't what you signed up for don't even waste the breath to talk to these companies.

If these people could hear themselves talk too..."awesome, juice by you" please, spare yourself the sanity. Soon they are going to have start making a rehab for people so brainwashed by this company that they don't know their rear end from their elbow anymore. They'll be called recovering juice addicts.

YCONSIDER YOURSELVES WARNED, youc can thank me later. You know what I feel better already knowing I've spared at least a few college graduates and talented people who deserve careers in a successful business that they went to school for. I'll say it again great WASTE OF TIME. That is all, have good day now.

Sincerely,
Also Part of the Farmingdale Cult

#3 UPDATE Employee

wow, this is great!

This page is cool. It used to be that all the neg-balls would meet in the corner-now they go online. lol In any case your promoting manager would never have promised you that you were going to make it to management, in fact all the managers I know tell they people that the odds are against them. The promise is that if you learn what you are supposed to then you have the opportunity to run your own show. OPPORTUNITY!!! And that is something most people never truly have, is it?

are you for real?

AUTHOR: todd - (U.S.A.)

Spent a year going door to door in the North East for a company that promotes opportunity every day to the nth degree. And then the only person to get promoted goes back in the field?

How many times during that year did she retrain people and split her money?

How often did she maintain a happy atmosphere to try and influence people to stay?

She finally realizes what a joke the whole thing is and you have the nerve to go off on her?

YOU need to re-evaluate your self. At least SHE is letting other people know how bad it is.

GET A LIFE ABBIE!!

AUTHOR: i am over it!! - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, November 05, 2002

Dear Abbie!

The more I read the postings that you seem to place everyday, at everypoint of this website the more I realize why you did not make it in this company.

You are a very, very bitter person. Being someone who was once in the business it is easy to see why you failed at it.

I will admit that I gave up. I could no longer take direct-sales and so I decided to quit the biz and find work elsewhere.

You on the other hand, were probably such a negative, unmotivated person that they asked you to leave,(I sure would have).Take it as an experience and get on with your life. If you are a happier person now than be excited about that and stop wasting your time writing rebutals to evry single posting you can find.

The more you do that, the more bitter you make yourself look to all of those Owners that you are speaking of. I had good times and bad times with the company, but at the end of the day, I quit because I lost the drive that it takes to succeed in that business. But it is not the company's fault I did not make it,

I am the one that lost the motivation to do it. I never felt as if I was lied to, cheated, or mislead in any way. I just did not want to become an Owner anymore at that point in my life. I must admit that every job I have had since I left has been a typical job. Same thing everyday, day in and day out and thay have all sucked. It was a decision I made Abbie, so therfore I chose to move on and so should you.

Dont be such a hatefull person. You make yourself look bad, and bitter that you are not in the company anymore, and also very jealous of the people that made Ownership.
