I returned a call that was placed to my cell phone. I am a semi-retired male just investigating possible online work that comes my way. The female answering the call encouraged me to listen to a 5 minute call about a business and then speak to a "mentor" who would explain more and answer my questions. He claimed the business would bring consumers to a website I would own and would pay me for various actions that the consumer might take such as clicks, asking for info, replying, emailing, purchasing or other simple actions. I might get paid $50 for someone just clicking on my site. He said the work might take 1 to 3 hours per day and that I would need to listen to 7 - 20 minute business modules and receive weekly advice from a mentor. I could get signed up for either $295  or $495, one time fee with a guarantee of money back once I listened to the modules. He was pushing for me to sign up all along as I expected he would. I kept asking questions and finally said I would review the website he referred to. He finally said, "Do you want a business or do you just want information?" I said I needed time to look the website over before I make a decision. up. He said,"Ok, good luck." and hung up. The phone number that called me was 720-452-0647. CPA Marketing???

It definitely sounded fishy and I didn't invest any money but I'm sure I would have lost it had I bought anything. I'm more sure of that now that I looked on Ripoff Report and saw another incident similar to mine. I just confirms my belieft hat you can't trust ANY person or company that wants money up front. CHECK THEM OUT FIRST. . .
