ebaymotors refused to pay under the guarantee .I communicated with them several times.
I talked to the dealer and he was quite ignorant and refused to help me .This was a very low mile car and according to the ebay listing it was in excellent shape and
was stated by ebay on this site that they provide up to $50,000. in free Vehicle Purchase Protection to This Vehicle .This is the second vehicle that was misrepresented
to me .The last one was actually in a flood .This dealer had a 100% feedback. He also asked to be sure to give him a positive feedback on this deal.
This car was junk to say the least .Ebay is full of many dishonest dealers and others
It is time we all consider a class action suit against ebay who falsely represent dishonest
auto dealers .Attorneys are welcome to contact me through ripoff report or others who would love to join me in a class action suit .Please stand up for your rights ,together we will win.

There is a right way and a wrong way to buy a vehicle online..

I have both purchased and sold cars on eBay motors and never had a problem. Granted I deal with classic cars and know what I am doing...I still make sure I have some protection when buying or selling.
Generally I use eBays recommended escrow service. They hold the funds of the sale until the vehicle is inspected. Since I know how to buy and am qualified, I inspect the vehicles myself, my only risk is shipping the vehicle back if I do not want it post inspection.
The average consumer should have the vehicle checked out by a professional before committing to buy.
As stated, you really should buy locally unless the deal is much much better then anything you can find locally, or the type of vehicle is not available locally. Although with any used car purchase there is a risk if it is sold as-is with no warranty. We read of much more ripoffs on this site from local dealers then ebay. If you do not know how to inspect a vehicle, you do not buy it until someone qualified does, or you subject yourself to being swindled.
Now eBay motors does have the buyer protection and it should have worked for you. What did eBay tell you the reason was why you were not refunded? If you followed the rules and timelines, payed using ebays accepted forms of payment, and the vehicle was misrepresented or not as described, there should be no problems returning the vehicle for a refund. What are you leaving out of this report??
You state we should join a class action lawsuit against ebay for false representation of dishonest auto dealers. What did ebay do to represent them? All the feedback and comments are left by buyers and sellers..not ebay. Ebay is just an online website to buy and sell..the seller writes the ad, and the buyers and seller leave the feedback. If the buyers are not satisfied ebay does not hide the negative feedback or comments.
If the seller does not have a lot of feedback, the it is up to the buyer to use better judgment. If the seller has a lot of positive feedback, then chances are good the seller is honest. It does not mean however that you are always going to get a perfect vehicle..but the buyer protection is there so you do not get scammed. If you play by the rules, you are protected and won't get stuck with a misrepresented vehicle. If you play outside the rules, then you give up the protection, forfeit your right to dispute through eBay or paypal, and forfeit the ability to leave negative feedback.

Let me get this straight, they lied to you once and you tryed it again. What is wrong with you- are there no car deals where you live??
I know this is kind of crazy, but did it dawn on you to have a mechanic look at it before you bought it. Buying a used car on-line is insane.
Class action suit? For what?
