Econolodge No Hot Water Provided Operator closed down operation and went to bed-No hot water at 6 AM next morning Mojave California

This stay was on Christmas day, night. The operator of this location closed down the office in the evening and apparently decided to shut off hot water heating until next day.. problem is that the office would re-open until 7 AM, if then.. at 6 AM there was no hot water available and no one to complain to... unless one wanted to wait until the operator opened up the office, whenever?

Travelers don't wait.. I had to hit the road before 7 AM... amazing how Econolodge can offer such shoddy services at an inflated cost with impunity.

But then that is America in the New Milenium... it's all about them, the "enteprenuer" or so it seems. They all need a refresher course in Econ 101 IE "consumer sovereignty"

So to Econolodge I say no more... after traveling around CA this year and staying at several Econolodges in different cities.. they are all the same: Ripoffs.
