I reserved a car through the site economybookings.com, upon reservation I recieved a voucher with the total amount I had to pay when I arrive to the country where I was traveling to. The total amount in the voucher was 168.76 EUR, I had paid for the Cancel Protection (14.07 USD)prepaid, and prepaid Full Excess Protection (211.10 USD) offered by the site.

When the rental car was returned without damage, and within the time of reservation I was charged 650 EUR, no explanation was given about the extra charge of almost 400 EUR. When I requested an explanation the answer is quoted below.

"Let me explain Your situation:

Additional charges applied to You was Collision Damage Waiver and Full Cover Insurance and Airport Fee.

1) Collision Damage Waiver is a mandatory insurance for all drivers, and it was excluded in Your rental price. If You take a look on Your voucher, it clearly says that - COVERAGE PLANS

â€‹ â€‹CDW - Tier 1 - 20.00 USD per day - RequiredTier 1 includes CCAR, CCMR, CPAR, CVMR, FCAR, FQAR, FVMR, ICAR, MVAR, PFAR, SCAR, SFAR â€‹It costs You 313.20USD. Full Cover Insurance is an additional insurance to reduce Your deposit amount, which must me blocked on Your credit card, or it should be taken in cases when driver need or must have an extra insurance. Rental companies ask customers to buy â€‹them, because they can not meet the requirements for credit card preauthorization. It costs You 220.40USD"

Both of these additional "costs" were not disclosed in the initial "voucher", it clearly stated that I had to pay only 168.76 EUR upon arrival, I can provide a copy of the voucher and the final invoice of the car rental.
