Ectaco Lingvosoft On-line Crooks , Internet

This company using the alias "Ectaco" and "Lingvosoft" sells a variety of inferior language translation products (which I did not know until I ordered one). My product was a translation software program for Windows for translating Norwegian to English. The program was advertised as "updated" and the "2010" version. I received a software program labeled "2008". The program was advertised as containing "8000 words". In fact, it contained less than 250 words.

After I requested a refund, I was told that if you add up the words in all of their 50+ progams, you will have more than 8000 words. When I pointed out that the Norwegian program was advertised as having 8000 words in itself, the response was that they do not refund payments and I should have known better than to buy a program before I tested it.

I should have investigated this company more. They are well-known as having some of the poorest quality language translation products available.

I only lost $50, but I intend to pursue this until I receive a refund.
