I have an EdgeStar Koldfront 18 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Cooler that was bought for me as a Christmas gift last year.  At the end of November, the upper zone stopped cooling.  I contacted customer service and they informed me that it was likely the cooling node, and that they could send it to me.  After I sent them the required information, they informed me the unit is no longer under warranty, even though I've only had it for 11 months and their warranty is one year.  They would not make any accommodation for the fact that it was a gift and the unit died after only 11 months.  How am I supposed to know and/or be responsible the date that the unit was purchased as a gift for me, when I've only had the unit for 11 months?  Apparently this company does not care about customer satisfaction.

So what you are saying is that THEY should just GIVE you something for FREE? Exactly how stupid are you?? Is it chronic stupidity or do you have to take a pill for it? Its no longer under warrenty. Thats all. WHY should they do ANYTHING for you that they do not have to do legally? Why would you expect them to send you probably a couple hundred buck part to fix YOUR problem?

This is not a ripoff, this is yet ANOTHER example of the American Consumer looking to cheat their way into ANYONE else paying for THEIR problem. Another self entitled jacka$$ who thinks the rules of the world do not apply to them.

If this was a gift to YOU, then YOU are not a CUSTOMER!!! You are the OWNER of a product. If the person who gave you the cooler DID NOT give you a gift reciept then thats on the person who gave you the item. YOU personally ARE NOT A CUSTOMER!!! So how exactly do they owe you anything? Reality check...THEY DONT!! You posting a negative review is your way of attempting INTERNET BLACKMAIL. And in this instance, YOU ARE THE SCAMMER!!! You are attempting to SCAM them into giving you the part for free when you ARE NOT a customer. A customer has made a purchase from them, YOU DID NOT!! You are a OWNER of their product as you recieved it as a gift. And when there is a problem, instead of taking care of YOUR problem LIKE AN ADULT, you post about them showing not only your ignorance and stupidity but your moral fiber. Please do not tell us your a church going person, cause I dont want to be in the state you live in when god takes you out of the gene pool.

Its a sad state of affairs when some slack jawed idjit can sit there and ANON post and try and scam a legitimate business because they are TOO CHEAP to handle their responsabilities. I swear the level of stupidity is almost SHOCKING!!!
