I received a call last year, 6/29/17 stating that my student loans needed to be reviewed and a new payment plan should be in place. I wasn't even told about the $39 monthly fee, I was given an amount of $239 as my monthly fee. At the end of May 2018, this company sent me an email which I believed because my card was replaced by my credit union. The email stated that my card was declined and that I had to submit payment right away or it would negatively impact my consolidation process.

Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful in our attempt to process your payment  transaction. Since you might not be aware of the NSF and as a courtesy, we wanted to quickly bring this matter to your attention to prevent any interruptions on your student consolidation process. To expedite resolving the payment concern and remit payment, please contact our billing department at 855-522-5575 between the hours of 8AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time.

 
This matter is of utmost importance as it can negatively affect your consolidation process; we encourage your prompt attention. Please reschedule payment arrangements at your earliest opportunity.

So I called and found out that it was a processing fee to keep me on the Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program. I called the my student loan people and they said
they have never heard of edunet and that fees are not charged to keep you on any program. I was naturally furious and called back. When they answer the
phone, it's not even a business that answers nor do they address you in any such fashion. Either way, this is definitely a SCAM! If anyone else is interested
in a class action lawsuit to get their money back, I would be most interested. This has got to stop!!
