Beware of Elance - Service Providers

Most are out of India and if they drag out the program development process. Elance will not get your money back for you.

What happened in my situation was the provider was to complete the job in 2 months that was 8 months ago.

Azim Shah of Buzzbrains was the provider and he started getting so many bad reviews, Elance kicked him off. Once that happened all the correspondence between us was taken off of Elance by Elance.

No phone for Buzzbrains
No address
No way of contacting
Nothing!! Then when I contacted Elance they told me that he was still listed but under another name (Angryandroid). The only thing is that Buzzbrains was in India and Angryandroid is in Lithuania. (I smell fish).

I reported Elance to the online BBB. Now Elance has taken my profile off, and no response from the BBB.

The BBB is a rip-off as well, I know that from first hand experience.
As long as you pay your dues, you're in good standing. They are a bunch of shysters. They cold call business trying to increase membership. They tell you it's by invitation only (don't believe it).

Bottom line Stay away from Elance.com and Azim Shah, Buzzbrains and don't believe anything about the BBB.
