I purchased a credit card terminal from Electric Money Inc. on eBay.
Not the best price on one, but a decent deal. They promised 100% money back if not satisfied. With that you would think you are pretty well covered. They have lots of feedback. How can the deal go wrong?
I get the machine and it's not compatible with my bank. I call them and they try to push me over to their service. That's fine, I'll look at it.
The contract they sent me had all kind of small print and hidden charges that I was just not willing to sign up for. I would just like them to refund my money and we'll part company. That's fine except I later found out that they DOUBLE BILLED me for the machine I bought on eBay. The next day I got another machine at my office. The first machine was to be delivered to my home. How they got my office address I don't know.
I contacted them again asking what they wanted me to do with the machines.
1. The machine I ordered that wouldn't work. 2. The second machine they sent me and double billed for.
They keep telling me to snneak them thru UPS, tell them they weren't ever opened, so I won't have to pay to send them back. UPS would not do that.
I paid to ship the first one back, but I am not willing to pay to return a second machine that I was already double billed for and one that I didn't order.
They signed for the first machine that I bought and even sent and email stating they refunded the money. I have checked with the bank for the past 5 days and there is no refund there.
I still have the other machine, but I am not going to pay to send it back. I didn't order it, it was their mistake. I asked them to send a return tag so I could give it to the UPS man. They refuse to do that....I am not paying to return this machine and I am not going to pay for it.
Now they are saying that I didn't return the first machine that I bought, but rather the second machine that they sent me by mistake.
This is so hard to explain, but I returned what I bought! I have a tracking number where they signed for it. It's the machine I got first.
Now I am stuck with the second machine that I didn't order.I can no longer trust them. They talk crazy to me on the phone with I call.
I just need to return the second machine and be sure that I am refunded for it.
I have been on eBay since 1999 and this has to be the worst seller I have ever experienced.
