In  2012 I bought an EW-36. It was shipped to me promptly in excellent condition. I rode it almost daily early 2016, when I decided it really looked ragged because of my carelessness and I wanted a windshield and a trailer hitch. 

In 2016 I bought a new EW-36. I still ride the old one occassionally, like when the batteries on the new one are low. I have had excellent service from the parts department at the ElectricVehicle Mall.  If the 2016 model gets too beat up I will probably buy another one.

I ride them year around, wearing a down parka and heated mittens in the winter (I live in Washington State) and I put a canopy on both of the scooters. 

I am 84, can no longer drive a car, but go anywhere I need to go, taking the trailer for groceries, on my orange scooter.  Seven years now of being called "the scooter lady" by the kids in town.

This is a FALSE review, cleverly written but still completely FALSE. While we couldn't check custemer names since none was given, we did not ship a single EW-36 scooter to California in January 2016 nor in the preceding month and also not in February. And we have never in 8 years had a situation remotely like that described here. Contrary to this review, we very much pride ourself on our excellent customer service and ALWAYS have our customers’ backs. Our A rating with the Better Business Burea is a testiment to that fact. Unlike, Ripoff Report, the BBB does not publish reviews by persons who are not customers. 

Alao, even the distributor, E-Wheels, could not recall a similar situation during this period with any other dealier's customers. 

So the real motivation for this review was likely that of a competitor attempting to damage both us and E-Wheels.  And we think we know who.
