Elephant Wireless rip-off stealing money & using debit cards ripoff thieves Bethesda Maryland

Okay, think quick....how on earth could this company get a debit card number? We don't just pull these things out of the air.

I can tell you exactly what happened.

I have been working at Elephant Wireless, a franchise of Cingular Wireless, for 5 years. We are the largest retailer of Cingular in the nation, with over 80 stores in MD, DC, VA, NJ, PA, FL, and NC.

All authorized agents have an "agent agreement" which states that if for any reason, you neglect to pay your bill for 3 consecutive months, that is considered termination of service. When that happens, you get charged full retail price for the equipment for not fulfilling your contract.

This may seem like a ridiculous practice to you, but you have no idea how many people do this. If this were not a common practice, we would not need the agent agreement.

Furthermore, your room mate chose to put their credit card number on file. We don't force you to do it if you aren't comfortable with it. He/she filled the document out and signed it themselves, tell them to go through their paperwork.
