Elite Moving And Storage This company is a rip off and broke my furniture and refused to pay Littleton Colorado

I wish I had read about the other rip off reports for this company before I hired them. I needed to move back in December from Crested Butte, Colorado to Erie, Colorado and filled out a form online for vanlines.com to find a mover. Heather from Elite Moving and Storage called me immediately and gave me a great quote less expensive than all the others. The truck showed up 3 hours late and we didnt get to the new house until 3 am, where they unloaded the truck because they would have to charge me an overnight storage fee.

They broke an expensive dresser along with some other items and tried to hide it. I found the broken dresser before the movers left and reported it. When they were done, I signed a form about the damage and was told to call Heather in the morning. I also was informed that because the move took so long the charges were different than quoted and my expense DOUBLED. When I called Heather in the morning to report the damage she faxed me insurance forms to fill out. She states she never recieved them, even though I had a certified mail reciept proving delivery. She said she would send me out a check immediately.

Needless to say it is the middle of April and still no check, there is always an issue, Heather is never there, and now they will not answer my calls or return my messages. In order to avoid an attorney, I bought a much less expensive dresser and asked them to settle on the cheaper piece of furniture. I still have not seen a check and no one will return calls. they will rip you off, trucks and movers are dirty and unproffesional, and I would not use them!!!
