Elite Moving and Storage Beware --Scamming Customers is Elite Moving and Storage's Standard Operating Procedure Las Vegas, Nevada

We needed to move the furniture from our Las Vegas rental to Oregon.  We got some bids from a few companies, and Donna from Elite got a complete description all of our furniture down to the number of boxes we were moving and quoted us in writing  $1706.00.  So we chose Elite, paid our deposit, signed the contract and flew down to pack up our condo.  Lie #1 When they showed up on Monday to move our stuff they looked around for a couple of minutes and said "oh, you have a lot more stuff than we quoted you for its going to cost at least 50% more.  Mind you we had not added ONE thing to our list of furniture, this was a rental move not a typical move with appliances, clothing etc.  So we were told the move was going to cost more based on the fact it would take more space, and they would refund us the difference if when it was all packed up it took more room.  LIE #2.  Once they had our stuff the delivery date they promised us vanished.  We could not get phone calls or emails returned about when our stuff was going to be delivered.  This company has ZERO customer service once they have your money.  At one point we thought we had paid them to steal our things because they woul not commit to where it was or when it would be delivered. 

 So approximately  3 1/2 weeks later we get a call out of the blue that our stuff is going to be delivered -- 3 hours from where we live on a weekday day not a weekend that we had agreed on.  So we had to leave town to meet our stuff because they told us after they had our stuff -- that if we were not at the location when they showed it it would cost EVEN MORE!!!  A contractor -- not the company showed up with our stuff, and when it was all unpacked low and behold the space it was packed in was the space they initially charged us for.  THis was clear because there were other peoples belongings packed tightly on either side of our stuff.  Lie#3 When my husband called Roy Ernhardt the manager he just wanted to argue with us that we don't know their business we don't know how they charge -- even though their invoice clearly states its by the cubic feet.  Our move should have cost what the original bid was plus packing suppliers.  No more than $2000 however, they have over $4,300 of our money, and they are not at all interested in making it right. 

 Do yourself a favor-- move on and find a reputable company interested in customer service.  Our first mistake was thinking Donna who gave us the bid really was giving us a bid.  It was the bait to get us in the place we were going to get reeled in so they could charge us what they wanted.  They do not give refunds -- even if the guy who shows up to tell you they will says so.  Don't be fooled by the low price bid -- it won't resemble your final cost.  They won't unload your stuff unless you hand the more cash at the delivery point, so be very careful -- this company does not deserve to be in business with tactics like this.
