Embrace Visa Credit Card made fradulent collections of payments, attempted collection even after original company called St. Cloud, Minnesota

This company sent an invitation offering to transfer my balance that i owed from a previous credit card to help me pay off the debt. I thought this was a good idea not having to pay such huge amount at one time.

I soon was getting two companies calling me at the same time. I told the previous company that I was handling it with Embrace and I said that my credit card company did not deal with embrace and I needed to get this in writing. Soon after the conversation with the credit card company,they asked embrace to verify their information and when their information was consistant with the original creditor they were asked to back off.

I had ended up paying 140.00 to embrace and now I am wondering how to get a refund on a fraudulent card that embrace had created to get money.
