Emerson Financial Group Scammed me out of 1122.00... i am so fearful they will steal my identity too. They have/know EVERYTHING New York New York

Desperate and in need of money fast, I had written out so many applications to different financial institutions online, that it was no surprise when I was contacted via phone that I was "approved" for the $5000.00 personal loan I was requesting. I didnt remember contacting Emerson Financial but I figured that if they had my phone number I must have. They then faxed me a copy of the contract and told me to review it carefully.

IT LOOKED EXTREMELY LIGIT! I read it carefully and it seemed as though I was protected. The idea behind the scam seemed logical enough. I have a number of bills and when added it didnt seem as though I would be able to make a payment on yet another... their statement "pay us 5 months up front to ensure us that you will be making payments, in return your first payment will not be due until Dec 08"...

Well WE ALL SHOULD HAVE TAKEN AN EXTRA LOOK AT THE TOP PORTION OF THE MONEYGRAM. It specifically states dont send this moneygram in if you think you were "approved" for a personal loan. SCAM. I had hesitations and I should have went with my gut feeling not to send in the money. Its easy to get sucked in when you are despirate, broke, and you cannot even afford to live. Thanks to these guys... now I really cant. They told me after I sent them the money, that I needed to send them another five months .

I told them that I wanted a refund. They said to read my contract because it states that I will not receive the refund until July 11. Well I am not holding my breath. I feel so dirty for allowing this to happen to me. Many nights of crying will not change how difficult my situation has been because of them.
