My wife bought a 02 Hyunda Accent GL from emmons in August of 07 for $7,000 Cash Within 2 days the check engine came on. We went back to the dealer and explained about the light as well as the brake issues and a near dead battery we also were noticing they offered to repair them. They sent us to the shop they contract with and we were told the issue was in the fuel line. We were also told that the brakes and battery would be replaced at the same time we just had to wait for the fuel line part to come in. 2 months later we still had heard nothing from the shop and i went over to ask what the holdup was. I was told that the dealer never ordered the parts so i drove back to emmons to speak with the dealer. The dealer then told me the shop should have ordered the part not them so i went back to the shop.

After alot of back and forth the dealer sent me to a different shop. Why i went along with it i dont know but i didnt want to eat the repairs anyways so i went along. The 2nd shop claimed they couldnt find the problem without an ODBII code because the other shop cleared the code. ANother month went by and no light. finally when it did come on the shop was overly busy and said come back monday..i come back still no work done. I was told to wait for the part by then my son had been born and i didnt have as much free time to keep running back and forth to this day none of the issues have been fixed by emmons ive had to pay 100 to replace the battery and i just ordered the parts for the brakes (another 100.00). The fuel line issue im working to diagnose but im sure will cost another 300.00 to 600.00 We Will See

Note: The low cost of the brakes is the parts only cost as i am doing my own mechanical work.
