Empire Beauty School Empire Beauty School - Unprofessional Leadership and students Memphis Tennessee

Well I have been going to this Beauty School since October 2017 until today 7/27/18 no more!! Today, the student by the name Andrea constantly leaving me to get on her cell phone. She doesnt listen either to what was requested to be done. As I was waiting to be styled , she was told she needed to start a new client by Mrs.Hill a "big mouth *** she is obnoxious, very loud and unprofessional . As a leader, they should lead by example if there is an issue the entire school will know your concern. Don't ever set up an appt,because I always scheduled an appointment in advance and its always an issue they have someone else they are working on, not on time, the student that you scheduled with is upstairs in the classroom and as a client you are not notified of the changes . No courtesy is given to the client. The leadership is not friendly or welcoming and the students get an attitiude if you have a concern about a service you are paying for. They use the excuse this is a school and they are not being taught anyhing when it comes to hair care or being professional with the public. They dont answer the phone right this d**n school is a joke. I did reach out to the president of this school and they kicked back to director Mrs.Hurdle a joke as well, if the head is weak so will the rest be. When some African Americans oversee things there is sometimes disappointments and a lack of integrity and great customer service. As a school counselor, I would not recommend to my students that are not going to college(traditional route)to pursue anything at this organization. Beware of being charged for services you didn't receive and to be pissed with something there. I hung in there because they are cheap, and the student stylists I did have were great,they are no longer there. If you reach out to corporate be ready to be treated differenly by Mrs. HILL and Mrs.Hurdle. 568 Colonial Rd Empire School visit at your own risk.
