Purchased a rebuilt infinity engine from engines usa in March 2015 and the engine sold at one price changed because what they advertised was wrong so a $1200 engine became a $1700 engine we had to pay a core charge as well so $2075 was the total. It came missing parts and after $3600 to have it professionally installed, it has a knock. Dealer said it was not their fault and if we want to replace we would have to pay to remove and ship back $1800 to do that. they also refuse to pay for the missing parts till we return the old engine $750 to send and then "maybe" they will refund our core charge if they "like" the returned engine. They also demanded a copy of my credit card and drivers license (front and back) before they would let me purchase engine (huge red flag) and I wish I would have stopped then. eBay was no help when we reported fraud because we had to return the new engine to get money back and the only person who loses is the customer Because engines USA doesn't stand behind their product and forces the customer to incur every debt to send back so they will lose nothing. ( beware of fine print because you don't know about their fraudulent behavior until you receive theit product and get their "disclaimer". To fix "new" engine sold by engines USA will cost $3200 which I believe engines USA should pay for and, of course, they refuse. They were fraudulent in their advertising on eBay (the add clearly stated it would work on my car for $1200) and only after agreeing to purchase they changed the price because the one advertised would NOT work in my car and I had to pay $500 more. On a personal level speaking with the person at engines USA I found them condescending and very rude. I had to incorporate AMEX representative to prove myself because I refused to send my personal information. Please don't purchase anything from these people you will be sorry!
