For those of you considering signing up for any of the Robert Allen sponsored Enlightened Wealth Institute (EWI) "training" seminar series - either the Silver ($19,000) or the Platinum ($35,000), do yourselves a favor and invest in something that actually is meaningful to you, just not this waste of time and money.  The real estate (or get rich on the Internet) plays that EWI peddles is nothing that cannot be found on thorough Web searches for FREE.

Below is a portion of the actual email thread (names deleted) from this week between me and EWI's financing arm, Conrad Acceptance.  It is UNEDITED and VERY REAL.  If you choose to do business with a mafia operation like this, you have been forewarned:

Dec 3rd:

Dear CUSTOMER:

As I have explained to you several times, you have signed your contract.  Whether you choose to use the program or not is your decision, but the amount on the contract has to be paid.  Due to this contractual obligation I would recommend using the program since you will have to pay for it.  But again, it is your decision.

Conrad has already started you on terms, so I cannot extend them again; so your November payment is due and on the 12th of December that payment is due as well.  Please give us a call when you are ready to make that payment.

Thank you,

CONRAD ACCEPTANCE

Dec 3rd:

Dear CONRAD:

I'd like to make this simple for everyone involved.  Neither my sister, NAME, nor I intend to attend any other bootcamps or otherwise use any of the resources of EWI, including field training.  We attended 2 bootcamps and have decided after careful deliberation that this program is not what we expected or of which can make the best use.

I am asking very simply for us to be released from further obligation.  How in good conscience can your organizations hold us accountable for a contract, signed without the benefit of careful review, when the client won't be using any of the resources of the supplier? I understand the nuances of contract law, but isn't part of your business to be sensitive to customer service?  We've already paid a great deal to EWI, so what benefit is there to continually pushing us to fulfill an obligation that is totally against our grain?  I doubt any of you would appreciate being forced to pay many thousands of dollars for something you're not using.  And you would let the vendor know about it.

Please advise, thank you -

MY NAME

If after reading this actual email exchange you feel like you would want to dance with this devil, then you very likely may wind up having the same conversation I'm having with them.  And as you can see, I am far from alone in conflicting with their agenda.  Greed has an ugly face.

Do yourself a major favor and spare yourself this aggravation.  Operations like these prey on people who feel that all the solutions to their financial problems are based in programs like this.  WRONG!!!!! Look within, and all the answers are there.

Mr. Mills

AUTHOR: Hulk Hogan - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 23, 2010

Kevin Mills most likely wrote all of the rebuttals himself. It is very
much like him to do that. Notice how there is never any contact
information, no proof that the person exists, no proof of anything.
Well, I have proof that he defrauded me out of five thousand dollars and
have a number of witnesses who can attest that he has bilked them out
of tens of thousands. I tried to bring him to small claims court, but he
is always on the move.

I've tried it and it does work. But only if you make it work.

Ok, as far as I am concerned, the class is a little expensive, but there is a lot of information and training in the course.  I have attended two EWI bootcamps, and have learned quite a bit.

Yes, there is a lot of work involved, but who in their right mind actually thinks making real money in large amounts is going to be easy?  Is it going to be instant millions?  No, nor does it state that in any of the literature.

Do you actually have to get off your couch and hit the pavement?  Yes.  Again, it is not as easy as many might perceive it to be.  From what I understand, their drop out rate is 75%.  But that is because many people are too scared to make their first attempt for one reason or another, and they remain scared.  Then they become upset at themselves, but take it out on the program they bought.  That is not the right thing to do.

One person said they bought a few pieces of property based on the advice of another person.  That is no ones fault but their own.  YOU must do your own Due Dillegence on any sort of purchase, and even more on big ticket items.

I was sceptical at first, but the more classes I attended the more I learned and the more I have been making.

They do not teach you anything illegal or immoral.

The instructors give you the tools, show you how to use them and set you on your way.  What is so wrong/hard about that?  Please, do tell...

Again, I do think it is a little pricey.  But they show you several ways to make your money back, ten fold, at the least.

There is no way for anyone to contact me on here, so I will try to check back in to respond to questions anyone may have.

Official refund policy

AUTHOR: Emily - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 23, 2010

I also completed the program with 30+ offers, waited for one year, and applied for a refund through Rex Hudson's office. The response from the so-called "review board" was the same: I was so close to making a deal that the company opted to continue coaching instead of offer a refund. I have yet to see any part of my refund to date.

Robert Allen's high-powered attorneys have crafted a refund policy that allows them an "out" from ever giving you a refund. (By the way, the people signing you up for the program will emphaisize the money-back guarantee, but will not mention the part that they have sole discretion in choosing to work with you instead. Additionally, the sales persons will refuse to disclose the full refund policy until after you have signed up for a program).

Here are the full terms of the refund policy:

"If within 12 months of completion of your first personal training session, you have not at least recouped your initial tuition; we will refund your tuition or continue to work with you, at our expense, until you have reached your program objectives. This is at our option... You must document that you have made at least 30 offers, excluding counter offers, using our methods, under the trainer's guidance during the 12 month coaching program. If you do not complete the program and have not made at least 30 offers, you will not be eligible to recieve a refund."

In contacting some acquaintances from all the "free" seminars, boot camps, and field trainings I have attended, I have not known of a single person to have successfully recieved a refund. (Our money is now being used to fund Robert Allen's dream cabin that was destroyed by an avalanche, and his Mercedes that he crashed into a tree.)

Sorry about your marriage... money is replaceable, but relationships are invaluable.
