Robert Allen and his now-renamed Enlightened Wealth Institute must be getting desperate. They are milking this for all it's worth before they probably disappear or change their name again. I am not a victim of their fraud but AM a victim of unsolicited telemarketing. I received 3 calls on my cell phone, a mailer, and an email. I do NOT buy into this kind of thing and would never have solicited this. I also am on the National Do Not Call list. I told them each time they called to TAKE ME OFF THEIR LIST before I reported them to the FCC. They didn't. Again, they must be desperate and on their last legs before they disappear, because they don't seem to care about the FCC or its potential fines. At any rate I finally did report them to the FCC with explicit details provided by my cell phone recent calls list. I hope they get shut down and not just disappear into the night.

OP signed up for a total of $47,384 in WonderWealth Programs??? You can get a BS degree at a state college for that kind of money, and you might REALLY learn something. But if the sales people are good enough and high pressure enough I do believe they can con almost anyone out of $47K. I just avoid these WonderWealth people alltogether. I have done fine in Real Estate without them.

I read about these "deals" all the time. Pamela's post suggests that she been gravely harmed by relying on their verbal promises and guarantees, but I suspect that if these people had given Pamela written promises and guarantees the result would be the same.

I, disagree with the people who say that robert allen and all other mentors are scamming you. If you bought something online that's a whole different story, but as far as the mentoring programs go, just because you pay your money to them doesn't mean its going to be easy, you still have to work at it.

First off, if they were scamming people like you guys are saying, then there should be thousands of these reports about this company, on this website alone, and don't you think the secret would be out by now? Secondly, there is a risk and THERE ARE NO GAURANTEES!!! At the end of the day unfortunately many people will pay their money without really deciding what they really want in there lives, and lose there money because they didn't know or they didn't accept the fact that they actually would have to put lots of time and effort into achieving what it is that they want.

I have spent a great deal of time checking out Robert Allen and the companies that surround him so I think that this is fairly accurate. I have attended training events, wealth retreats, made lots of telephone calls, and have had a few friends double check me and make a lot of contacts to do it. At events that we were at in person, we have talked to other people there and talked to the employees and later the telephone sales people. Sometimes we let them think that we wanted to work for Robert Allen and it was easier to get them to talk after we mentioned some behind the scenes stuff.


This all started after I heard Robert Allen, believed him, invested in his training, then started getting bombarded by emails and phone calls. Something did not seem right so I wanted to find out what was behind the smile. It has taken a lot of time to get this so here is what I found out.

Robert Allen lets other companies use his name (and pay him a lot of money yearly) to attract, sell and train people the Robert Allen Way. He does not select the trainers, salespeople or even look at the training materials. Now he says that his calling is to teach people about inner wealth. Guess he already got our outer wealth.

Robert Allen Institute also known as Creating Wealth is a company in Florida. They do training seminars all over the country and Canada. They also show and sell JG Banks and Carlton Sheets stuff along with other programs. They have everything from software to membership levels where you can give them money monthly for the rest of you life if you want. They have sales quota's for the live training sales people. Comforting to know that they expect to average a certain dollar amount per head for everyone that is there. Must have a good and proven flashy show to do that, huh? They do a lot of newspaper advertisemants. They are good at selling you something and say that is all you need, then go to what you paid for and have them convince you that you need to spend a whole lot more money to be successful. After all you have already spent money, don't want to waste that do you? What a country!


Enlightened Millionair Institute is under Tom Painter. They do trainings and have the big wealth retreats. Wealth Retreats are where they do a few million dollars of business in 5 days and Robert Allen shows up for only a day or two. They have their business partners sell there programs at the Wealth Retreats too. BIG BUCKS. They get the excitement going then sell, sell, sell. Also under Tom Painter is a sales office where they sell by telephone. They sell coaching programs and the some other programs.

They have lots of people who use to work for other real estate big shots like Russ Whitney, Ron Legrand, Carlton Sheets and others. The sales office is in Salt Lake City where a lot of other real estate telephone sales offices are. They also have live (really just recordings) training calls with Robert Allen where he gets you excited, you call in, and they sell you. Slick. Oh, this sales office also sells for Ron Legrand and others.

I guess Robert Allen and Tom Painter have the smooth salespeople so why not sell other stuff too? I heard this about Tom Painter top two people in his company; one can't keep his thing in his pants (poor wifey), and the other is very over weight and covered in gold and diamonds. I see why they need to sell stuff. Robert Allen may stop by there once a year and pat them on the back for making so much money.

Prosper learning is where they sell Robert Allen coaching programs and a ton of other programs for a lot of other people. They have a lot of young people and a revolving door on employees. High pressure sales are the standard approach. Prosper changed there name from PMG because they had ethics issues. The Robert Allen programs are in real estate, stock market and other stuff. They get most of there sales from there internet web sites. They sell and do coaching for other real estate big shots besides Robert Allen. Tom Painters office is in the bottom floor of Prospers building.

Robert Allen has said that he hates Prosper because of people coming up to him at events and complaining of there Prosper coaching experience. Tom Painter keeps the relationship with Prosper because he makes a lot of money from them. Sweet.

I have found that all three of these companies will spam the devil out of you (don't forget the phone calls!!) to try and sell their own Robert Allen stuff and on top of that the training materials are not the same! They have there own coaches and the training materials are different. I heard that one of them took the coaching materials from another company, put Robert Allen's name in, took the other companies name out, and printed the stuff up as Robert Allen's own. The sheep won't know.

Well I could go on but I have satisfied my curiosity. Do they have successful (besides themselves) clients? Of course they aren't stupid. You can even throw enough stuff at Teflon and some sticks. I have spent a lot of time and effort (and MONEY) coming to these opinions. I know that the real estate business is not all bad and there are a few great training companies out there. I kind of feel like the fish that saw the pretty lure (Robert Allen) and got hooked by someone controlling the line. Funny thing is that this same pretty lure can look different and still the line is controlled by someone in a different boat.

I think all three companies are driven solely by greed, after all they have a smooth talker in front that makes you feel like he cares. After all Robert Allen is a very, very religious guy, right? Don't believe us then ask him. That makes it easy to slip a hand in you wallet. Smart. Look past the pretty lure to see what is on the other end of the line before you bite!

Okay, here's my own experience with the enlightened wealth institute folks.

I was scammed with a money back 'gaurantee' $40 ebook collection. I specifically was interested in how Robert Allen generated a huge sum of money in 24 hours and one of the ebooks promised to spill the beans. The ebook demonstrated that Robert Allen had generated a large database of email addresses and generated the money by emailing said database email adresses an offer. Alas, the ebook didn't yield useful information for generating such a database. So I hoped to get my money back, as I was unsatisfied.

True enough, I was unable to get my money back. I was, in fact, telemarketed repeatedly by the Enlightened Wealth Institute. Fortunately I was able to resist their sales pitch, poverty and unwillingness to incur debt helped in this respect.

So far, the business is quite a scam.

But, I was invited to an introductory seminar by the EWI folks, and as it was free I gave it a chance. It was much better than I expected, I now have a handle on how to develope an email database and run a dropship reseller business very effectively.

That said, a caveat. I'm an internet professional and have e-commerce experience. Another person less versed in online business may be unable to benefit as I did. Half of the seminar related to real estate and I didn't benefit much at all from that subject matter - I lacked enough real estate background to follow it well.

I did get to associate with classmates - some of whom honestly claimed to be successful with the real estate, suggesting their success forumla can work for some people (no one claimed it was easy though).

Here then is my conclusion. The EWI folks, and Robert Allen, really have made money with real estate and ecommerce, and really do have a forumula that can work well for many people, in real estate and e-commerce. BUT, it's not a formula without risk. It's not a wealth formula that will work with anyone. And any claims of a money back gaurantee are total bulls*it.

At this seminar there were NO claims of a money back gaurantee. The EWI folks may be cleaning up their act. I believe the organization may have something to offer to many people. But do be aware their formula involves kiting credit cards to generate investment capital. Realize though, that this is also really how many people get wealthy; taking such risks.
