On April 19th ( Friday) my family arrived at Logan airport,Boston.
Because of Boston bomb terror on Monday and MIT police officer tragedy on Thursday, all taxi service was unexpectedly stopped around 9am on Friday, let alone public transportation like the T(subway) and bus.

At that time I just returned from Sanfransisco with my wife and two kids after a week trip.

My family was so tired that I had no choice but to rent a car, soon I went to the Enterprise in Boston Logan Airport
and said to Kevin,a management assistant, that I wanted the cheapest car as company serve.
I just needed the rent car to go to the parking garage in Red line Alewife station, where I already had parked my own car for several days.

During a paperwork for the rent, he asked me about a optional collision damage waiver and so on, but I knew that I just needed the rent car for several hours and I already had my own car insurance.  He asked how much I have a deductible
amount and my car insurance company.
It was odd to me why he asked this kind of questions because I already rented twice AVIS and Alamo during the trip, and the other companies had not asked me that kind of questions.
But, I answered "maybe $500 and the Geico.com is my car insurance company".

After I filled out the paper work as a small compact car with him on the desk inside office, when I was going out the office to get the car, he saw my family waiting near the exit of office and HE SUDDENLY SUGGESTED a bigger red van that parked right outside the exit. The van looked more expensive so I asked, but he said the van has the exactly same price as compact car that I signed, so I accepted it.

At that time the paper was already signed in the office before I saw the van, he marked no damage already by himself on it and I signed it already, too.
It means the compact car(not van) would be no damage.
I thought we would check together when we got the car, but he didn't give me the chance to check out the van carefully, braggingly emphasizing that the van is 2013 new car.
ALL IN ALL I DIDN'T GET THE CHANCE TO LOOK OVER THE VAN.

My wife and I went to Alewife garage to get my own car parked there and I drove that rented van.
Arriving at my house and family ate brunch, and I returned around 2pm this van to the Enterprise office at Lexington,MA near my house. My wife followed me by driving my car in order to pick me up after returning the van.

The man who checked the van, told me that there is a small damage outside on the front door and this was not documented on my paper, I answered that it NEVER BE my fault, even there had been no time that the damage might happen and I used that car just 1 hour and all the streets in Boston area were almost no cars on that Friday to capture the suspect for the marathon bombing.

He said that there was no damage history in the company database, he should report this becasue he found the damage, and
the Enterprise would inspect the damage and let me know how much I should pay.

I was so upset and embarassed and called the Enterprise office in Logan Airport.
It was impossible to contact him because that Friday afternoon was still too busy.

I e-mailed to Kevin @ Enterprise at Logan Airport and his answer is below.
It means he just remember that he changed the van instead of original compact one.

I feel that I was TOTALLY CHEATED....

Hello,

Yes I remember you coming in sir and I remember the walk around. There was no chargeable damage on the vehicle when I rented it to you so I don't know why Lexington would say that. There was no extra charge for the upgrade, it was free. As I walk around the car I note any damage that is visible at that time. If there are any marks that stand out I note the bottom of the contract.
