Facts concerning my free annual credit report denial

1/ 03 September 2013 - Sent for my free annual credit report, once again, to Equifax / P.O. Box 740241, Atlanta, Ga 30374.  I sent this via Certified Mail with Return Receipt Requested.  I received the Return Request from the USPs dated 06 Sep 2013, indicating it had been accepted and signed for by one named Carol.  To date, 11 Oct 2013, I have not received a coy of my free annual credit report from Equifax.

Each time this procedure is costing me $6.11, not including my time involved with each request and personally delivering it to the USPS.  I am well-aware of these Credit Reporting Agencies circumventing arund the laws and regulations in regards to proving free annual credit reports.  A quick internet search revels this is an on-gong problem with thousands of similar complaints per month and yet nothing is being done.

I have kept and will continue to keep all correspondence to and from these places,along with all the requests and receipts for legal purposes in the future.  I will continue to monitor these credit reporting agencies and will continue sending in complaints every ten days until the time to go to court.  I plan to send complaints to our State Representatives requesting something be done to insure these credit reporting companies comply with the law.
