Equitrust Financial Services Promised a loan they have been business for 14 years Atlanta, Georgia

*Consumer Suggestion: ANYTIME THEY WANT MONEY UP FRONT TO GIVE YOU A LOAN....
They promised me a loan of $15,000 and all I had to do was pay the first 6 month up front $2,110 and they never gave me my loan. We told them we didn't have the money and they said see if we could get it from some one. So when we got the loan we could pay them back.

It is a scam. A legitimate lender would take fees or costs associated out of the proceeds of the loan. Asking for money BEFORE the "loan" should be a red flag. I'm sure that they wanted the "payments" sent via Western Union or Moneygram, anothe sure sign of a scam.
I'm sure they've been in business 14 years...probably under numerous different names with many different "addresses"...usually a rented mailbox...until law enforcement gets on their trail, only to resurface under a new name, but same old scam.
Avoid these "deals" like the plague.
