Equity Technologies Equity Tech Corp fail to pay subcontractor, beware, bad business, rip off, deadbeats, scam, fraudulent, mobile Alabama

We have worked on and off as a subcontractor for Equity Technologies for the past few years.  Equity Technologies leases telecom equipment to it's clients around the nation and as the equipment comes off lease, they ask their subcontractors to dismantal, inventory, package and ship this equipment back to their home offices.

This work is not difficult but is time consuming and does incure additional costs (for packaging materials and such) to the subcontrator.  In addition, all items not matching the inventory list, but are clearly part of the system being dismanteld, must be notated and confirmed with Equity Technologies recovery staff prior to returning.  The process is taxing and annoying.

Payment for this work is done at a rate of $65/hour for onsite work, and then $45/hour for packaging.

We have done multiple jobs for this company, but our last three extractions have not been paid for work done in Feburary 2014 through June 2014.

Our small company is owed a total of $807 from Equity for three jobs, one of which was a multiday project performed in a snow store here in Colorado in Feburary.

We have always gone above and beyond to satisfiy Equity Technologies customer base with professional service, and now they will not even return emails for phone calls requesting payment.

This company has no qualms about stiffing it's subcontrators.  I am sure they are a doomed company and just want to warn other subcontractors to NOT get involved with this group.  They are not professional and will fail to pay you.  DO NOT WORK FOR EQUITY TECHNOLOGIES!
