Andrew Christian hired Estrela via their representative Ken Pollock to send an email to an opt-in email list of 1 million consumers in the target market - Gay Males. Out of 1 million emails that Estrela said they sent, Andrew Christian didn't receive any response/orders. Andrew Christian is the leader in the industry and expert at email marketing campaigns and the normal order response rate is .009 for the same type of email campaign and offer Estrela was contracted to send on behalf of the company. Accordingly for the email campaign that Estrela was contracted to execute, Andrew Christian should have received some orders from the 1 million emails that Estrela alleges it sent; but the response rate/orders from the email campaign from Estrela was 0. Estrela has refused to refund the money paid back to the company. Andrew Christian filed a complaint with the Attorney General of the State of Florida and the Better Business Bureau.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

This Person is an Extortionist....The company "Andrew Christian" tried to rip us off....

AUTHOR: Adam T (owner Of Estrela Marketing) - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 17, 2009

This is a very interesting story. This report was written by an intern from the fashion company "Andrew Christian" under direct order from Jeff White. (The CEO of Andrew Christian)

Before writing this report, this unnamed intern called Ken Pollack and left a voicemail attempting to extort us. We have saved the message.

Please note: We have proven to Mr. Jeff White's credit card issuer (Chase) that we delivered our advertising contract exactly as contracted and directed.

Please see the email we sent to Mr. White's credit card company showing Mr. White tried to defraud us.

The following email was one that was sent to "Melanie" from Chase Bank. She is a Fraud Analyst there. This was prompted after receiving a call from Melanie telling us that Mr. White called in and told them that he did not recognize the credit card charge on his statement. He was attempting to defraud our company.

*****Email Message*****
Hi Melanie,
Thank you for calling in to speak with me about our mutual customer Mr. Jeff White (Card #XXXXXXXXX2178). As per our conversation, I have attached all of the emails, signed Insertion Order, and the CC authorization form, Mr. White signed and faxed to us. (There is a total of 26 emails and documents, provided to Chase)

I am very concerned to hear that Mr. White is stating the charge is not recognized or fraudulent. After receiving this news, Ken Pollack (Our VP of Sales) called their office and spoke with his employee Gregory: (Mr. White would not get on the phone with Ken)

Here is Gregory's Information:

Gregory
Vice President of Operations
Andrew Christian, Inc.
325 West Cerritos Ave.
Glendale, CA 91204 USA
818.508.9195
@andrewchristian.com
http://www.andrewchristian.com

After Gregory heard the news that the charge was questioned he told Ken that this has happened before with other vendors that work with their company Andrew Christian Corporation. This is a way for him to get out of paying for his advertising bills that he deems did not hit the sales goals.

As you will see with all of the communications, and tracking information we are in the process of completing an email advertising contract with them. This $3,000 charge is the first of the contracted amount of $7,500.00. There is no question that Mr. White contracted with us and authorized the $3,000 charge.

Please let me know if you need anything else from us.

*If you are a media publisher/provider/vendor, be sure not to allow Mr. White or anyone from the company "Andrew Christian" to use a credit card to pay for services. Mr. White has a documented history of trying to defraud media companies, if certain "sales" goals are not achieved from their campaigns.*

*Feel free to contact me for any other details regarding this attempted fraud from Mr. White and the Andrew Christian corporation.*
