Etrade Product Sucks, Service Fees Even Worse New York New York

In addition to providing an inferior product to its competitors (Schwab, Interactive Brokers, you name it), Etrade charges the egregious fee of $40 per quarter on inactive accounts. I forgot I had an etrade account, and came back to it a couple years later to find that Etrade had charged me hundreds of dollars to process 4 dividend payments a year. It is sweet justice that Etrade bought subprime and home equity loans that are now likely to send it to bankruptcy. I am pulling my newfound money from them (despite another likely charge), as I don't feel like trying to get my assets out after they go bankrupt.
