Not only do these people rip you off, but they are especially nasty when doing it. I purchased a watch from ebay about a month ago, and am still fighting with them. I have been unable to get product or refund. I am in the process of turning this over to the proper authorities, but want to make sure I warn you about doing business with these people. I have tried every reasonable method to get product or refund, and for all practical purposes just get nasty mail. They will then promise refunds if you drop action against them for repayment. This from what I can see would be a mistake. I have found most ebay sellers to be above board, ethical and honest. These people are definately the exception rather than the rule. When doing business on Ebay, avoid such disreputable sellers, as you have plenty of options.. Things can go wrong in any transaction, its all about how its resolved,,, please do your self a favor, and dont do business with these people.

Europa Timepieces

This buyer won one of our ebay auctions but refused to pay. We had no option but to file for an unpaid item so as to recover our listings fees, at this point the buyer decided to leave a negative feedback. I reciprocated by leaving a negative feedback for the buyer informing other ebayers of his refusal to pay. The buyer then contacted me and asked if I would remove the negative feedback. I agreed on the condition that the goods were paid for.
The buyer then paid and we removed the feedback and shipped the watch. The buyer then fraudulently claimed, through paypal, that the item was never shipped. I submitted the track info to paypal, but as is always the case with paypal, they refunded the buyer.
We have thousands of satisfied customers and 20000 positive feedbacks on ebay and treat customer service as our number 1 priority. Occasionally things do go wrong but we always do our best to resolve any problems.

Europa., Is it so difficult to just, tell the truth?

Considering that Europa claims I never paid for the item in question, the following email from Paypal is quite perplexing. This entire process appears to be just Europa's mode of doing business. I paid immediately upon winning the item, otherwise I doubt they would have shipped. My money was refunded, but not until a fairly lengthly battle. This is just bad business, and if Europa had just been honest, would never have had to go this far. I have delt with hundreds of ebay vendors, none have EVER been this dishonest.

Interesting Rebuttal

The rebuttal submitted is interesting, but not true. The item was shipped after winning an auction on Ebay, and was paid for immediately via PayPal. I am not aware of many Ebay sellers shipping with no payment. Ultamately, the dispute was settled by paypal, and Europa Timepieces was required to refund my money. Denial is one thing, but to lie is quite another. Europa appears to be quite proficient at both.

UNFAIR REPORT
AUTHOR: Phil - (United Kingdom)

This individual bought a watch from us through our ebay shop. He then sent me an email refusing to pay and did not give me any valid reason. I politely explained that we required payment but he still refused to pay. To list on ebay we have to pay fees and the only way to get these fees back is to file an unpaid item dispute. This individual is no sending me abusive emails on a daily basis when all we have done is ask for payment. He talks about us not giving him a refund and yet he has not even paid us any money!!! He has negative feedbacks on ebay and has made his feedback private, which says a lot really. I would like to point out that we have 11000 positive feedbacks and we are not in the business of ripping people off we go out of our way to help our customers.
