Excede Excede: Making Comcast look like saints Internet

Over billed for services never recieved or requested, i.e. VoIP service.  Service cancelled no issue and credits given, kind of.  They credited the account and debited my account so I never recieved the credit.  Spoke to half a dozen people and one who understood basic math well enough to admit the problem but then stated the company likely credited my bank account directly. Me, "Do you see that on your end?", Agent, "No, but in order to prove that isn't what happened you'll need to provide your banking statements".  WOW!!! Escalated complaint to the FCC and was told by them I should hear something from Excede, Excede never contacted me.  So on top of being over billed the service is very limited by the data limitations which are very constrictive in today's internet enviroment.  Streaming and online game play of any sort is completely out of the questions and I've only tried both once as it was clear they weren't going to work and see previous statement.  Have had 2 seperate modem failures and been without service for 3 weeks total in the past year, best part is when tech doesn't show Excede themselves is completely unaware of what is going on with their contractors.  And was even told during one of the modem failures that I would likely have to pay $180 dollars for the modem failure as it's my problem for a modem that I lease from them.  Was really impressed with customer service during the first week leading up to installation and it's been all down hill from there.  If I had any other choice I would go elsewhere.  Excede is at best an last resort if you are really, really desperate and there aren't any other options.
