On March 17, 2015, I sold a business that used eXpect Payment Solutions. I tried for 2 months to get the new owners to continue using the services of eXpect and "First Data," who they are associated with.

When the new owners declined to use them, I owed $1,630.00 to buy out the lease agreement on the Credit Card Machine. I struck a deal with Mr. Derek Garvin that I would send the machine back and pay the total amount owed and he would then refund 1/2 of the amount owed, $815.00.

We "struck this deal" on June 10, 2015, after 3 months of emails back and forth.  I sent the C.C. machine back and paid the $1,630 on June 11th (check has been cashed by them.)

The first promised date for my refund of $815.00 was June 25th. Since then I have had every excuse imaginable, from "the checks keep coming back as undeliverable to your address...I was on vacation....we opened a new bank account, etc." For the last two week, I have not gotten any response at all to my emails. My last email, sent August 7th, informed Mr. Garvin, that I would "find another way to approach you and your company, as it is a matter of principal and now is also becoming a matter of mental aggravation."

I have been made a fool of. I have kept the old business accounts open for 5 months, expecting a check from eXpect that would have to be deposited in one of them. Having fulfilled my end of the bargain and being treated this way, I feel obliged to warn others of this company's way of doing business. It seems that lies to get money do not matter, even when they can be proven by the emails that I have, of course, kept.

I did receive the promised refund.  In all fairness, the envelope was portmarked before my using RipOff.
