*Consumer Comment: Explore talent worked for me!
These guys tld me it was free, but then said if I paid I would receive business cards, and good odds of being contacted for acting opportunities. I was then given someone who would help me everystep of the way. I discoverd the steps of the way were paying, because I never could get in touch with them after that!
I should of known when they wanted money it was a rip off, but figured maybee not. These people never helped me set up my profile or did anything they said except for take the money out of my account! I would warn anyone I could about not joining this scam site, that must be giving kickbacks to the bbb.

Explore talent worked for me!

I don't know what this guy is talking about, I put my profile up in March of 2012 and thought that would be the end of it. Several weeks later I. Received a call from one of the reps at Explore Talent telling me that I had a bunch of castings matched to my profile, I was quite skeptical, but it has alway been my dream to be in movies and TV, so I figured in for a penny in for a pound and I signed up for a year. I submitted for all of the BIG projects they told me about and a month went by with no responses, I started to feel like I had been scammed, so I called my Talent Advisor Shirley and she told me that to succeed I needed to be submitting to more than just the major feature films and tv shows. I took her advice and started to submitting to almost everything they had in my portfolio. It took another few weeks but the responses started rolling in. My first job was on a local TV commercial for a Toyota dealership in Vegas where I was living, I moved to LA and I got an extra roll in Fury a WW2 film with Brad Pitt!!! I have subsequently auditioned for several independent films, which. I did not get, I got a part in a short film called Gargantuan! and I have just landed my first ever speaking role on Criminal Minds!! Explore Talent works! Here is the thing though you have to do it yourself! They are not going to do the submissions or maximize your profile for you(they will give you excellent advice on how to do that however) You aren't paying for auditions, you are paying for access to thousands of auditions across the country. While some of these auditions appear on Craigslist, most of them are exclusive to ET and you wouldn't get them anywhere else. The one negative is that when they call you to sign up the salesperson kind of acts like they are going to be working with you to help you get your career going, that's not the case. They will answer questions and be genuinely helpful, but they are never going to call you to tell you about castings, it is totally up to you to check the site often and submit for as many jobs as you can! All I can say though is Explore Talent helped me start my acting career, I am going to remain with them as long as I want to stay in the entertainment field. I have read some peoples complaints about ET, but I think those people probably didn't submit for a lot of things and felt like for 200 bucks the work should have been automatic, but that just seems silly to me. They provide a great service, nothing in this life is free, and I wouldn't have had these successes without them. If you want to get into the industry, I say sign up for explore talent.
