This is a warning from the BBB:

The Better Business Bureau has received complaints from consumers who had paid for record suspension (pardon) services but have not received the services promised. Upon attempting to contact the company for an update, consumers have reported that the company did not respond. BBB has received reports from consumers who have received a letter stating that Express Pardons Ltd is no longer in operation. However, Express Pardon's website and phone systems appear operational.

On September 13, 2013, BBB contacted Express Pardons to determine if the business was in operation. As of October 1, 2013 BBB is still awaiting a reply.

Consumers who are awaiting the status of their record suspension, may wish to contact the Parole Board of Canada to determine if an application was submitted on their behalf. The Parole Board of Canada may be reach at: 1-800-874-2652 or, throught their website at: www.pbc-clcc.gc.ca

Consumers may be able to cancel or reverse a credit card transaction and its associated interest charges in cases where there is evidence that services purchased were not provided to the consumer.

Consumers who have submitted original or true copies of personal information to a private company should contact the company by registered mail to confirm that the company will return any such information or destroy the information. If the company does not respond within 30 business days, consumers may wish to contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner at: www.oipc.bc.ca or 1-250-387-5629.
