E-Z Auto FINANCE -located at (2 blocks from the Marietta square community) sells used cars/lemon vehicles and do not value honest customer service. On March 31, 2016 we purchased the listed 2008 BMW 6 series 650i 2 dr Convertible paid 18,499, plus license fees, state taxes, and GWC warranty which came highly recommended by the GM and sales manager at this location.

During the initial discussion the salesman and GM stated the car was a great car with a bill of health Carfax history with no issues. After surfing the web, completing many cost comparisons, looking for reliable, Nice Clean luxury cars, after test drive a few cars at various lots in Marietta. EZ auto finance lot had a BMW I had been researching for months to purchase. We choose a what we thought was a Fair Business (EZ auto to test drive and buy a used BMW) to make a large $$$ purchase from.

The next day we had certified mechanic check the car out, it appeared to be solid with exception of a tire. The GM assured us the vehicle had no issues. On March 31, 2016 we purchased the listed 2008 BMW 6 series 650i .They promised the back left run flat tire replace and detailed car wash with all mats placed , with option to pick the car up the next day, April 1, 2016.

The tire was replaced however the car was not detailed on Friday as promised, due to rain. I picked the car up on Saturday April 2, 2014 and took the vehicle to the car wash myself. 3 hours later, running errands, I drove the car on the hiway approximately 20 miles and the car was stuck in a gear and would not accelerate. Within minutes a transmission message appeared on the screen (TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTION) Drive moderately continued riving possible. Reduced acceleration. Have system checked by the nearest BMW centers.

Thankfully I was able to drive the car safely back home. The dealership had closed so i texted the salesperson which he responded “Turn the car off and on again” WOW. I basically informed him there’s a major issue with the car and I was bringing it back. They were closed Sunday,

Monday April 4( less than 72 hours, I went and talked to the salesman who referred me to the GM. He stated he was with the GM when he got the text and informed him, that I needed to go talk to him. When I sat in the GM’s office ( he stated he didn’t know why I was there, that he’s a busy person) I explained I had the care 3 hours and the problem with the car. His response in a nut shell ( you had the car checked out when you test drove it, You bought it AS IS with a GWC warranty.

You’ll need to contact them and take your vehicle to a certified mechanic. The most I can do is have my mechanic look at it in possibly a week and anything over $100-$500 we may can split but I’m not making promises” Basically he would not refund my money or take the car back. On the day of purchase we also paid them for an additional BMW key which they stated would be at their cost with not extra charges.

We requested the key on 4/11 was not ordered; they had to cut us a check on 4/11. When we checked the price at BMW on 4/11 they had over charged us by $50 . The description listed on the car stated floor mats (which they stated was in the trunk, only the back mats were in the trunk. When I asked about the floor mats for the front (they promised they would get some front mats not necessarily BMW mats).

The next week after searching reputable service centers, we had the car towed to the nearest BMW center, the diagnosis was it had transmission damage and needed to be fully replaced, and the car needs a brand new transmission up to $9000. We contacted the extended warranty company bought through EZ auto, the GWC warranty which won’t replace the transmission as they stated the mileage is not adding up and the transmission problem is old and not covered by the powertrain warranty.

THIS CAR LOT IS RIP OFF-An E-Z LEMON LOT, looking to make a sale, making deals to pay their employees and feed their families off of hard working tax payers in the Cobb community. The have many marketing tactics the entice you to buy by their unreliable luxury cars. They will take your money for with cars that won’t make it past a few hours to a few days without major issues and their (AS IS policy). They have no respect for local or any respect for business deals with their customers.

NEVER buy or refer people to buy cars From E_Z AUTO you’re almost guaranteed to get an AUTO lemon- Motto you paid for it , its AS IS totally on your, it’s Now your car.

I figured them being on Cargurus website, in the CARFAX database and other reputable websites, in a preeminent Marietta community they would have reliable vehicles and a team of integrity people who want to stay in business by selling reliable cars respectfully to their customers who spend thousands of dollars. NOT!!!!

Amazing fruit. Atlanta georgia Thanks for taking the time to read my situation about EZ auto finance. Clearly it sparked your interest. 1 the facts and final outcome is what it is. In my pisosity i publically vented and still feel the same way about this shady unprofessional company. And the 50/50 split was only on repairs of approx 200 or less ( a joke )At the end the day with a lil more tenacity the warranty adjuster did cover and replace the transmission (umm). And the cars just fine. Oh but i just got my title 2 weeks ago because of the way this car lot handles contracts and business ( fairly according to your rubuttals) But know this. They sold the car ( a lemon) and sold it without state emissions (illegal) in georgia and didnt and couldnt obtain the registration or title change for 90 days after the sale. You have your opinion and your entitled to that. However it wasnt your purchase or your family/friend nor business ( or maybe it is and u have real interest to gain in the deal$$). The bottom line is reap what we sow. And im riding in my bmw convertible without the support or customer service of Ez auto lemons. Do some extra homework on this business im not the only one whose been squeezed

Your Mechanic OK'd this car??

"...The next day we had certified mechanic check the car out, it appeared to be solid with exception of a tire."

So why did the bad transmission not show up when it was inspected? Possibly because ther was NO WAY to tell? Or the mechanic did a poor job? Or was it the EVIL "AS IS" clause  they sicced on you?

Why do buyers start screaming about beong solid tax payers, blah blah when they sign "AS IS" contracts?  No one tricked you, they may have given poor service in not managing small details like, the key, the mats, and detailing, but it sounds typical.

"..The have many marketing tactics the entice you to buy by their unreliable luxury cars."

Are you are saying you have no ability to withstand the advertising efforts that seduced you? You were unwillingly tricked into buying a "luxury" BMW and paying your mechanic to inspect it?

"...I figured them being on Cargurus website, in the CARFAX database and other reputable websites, in a preeminent Marietta community they would have reliable vehicles and a team of integrity people wh*o want to stay in business by selling reliable cars respectfully to their customers who spend thousands of dollars. NOT!!!!"

Sounds like you imagined a  real 'upperclass" 1860's PBS "Downton Abbey" lord-of-the-manor buying experience for your money, real white glove treatment for $18,000, on an 8 year old used car? ( The "luxury" part is in your head..it has an engine and 4 wheels, and was cheap for that make of car.)

Yes like MOST businesses they DO expect to make money so thy can pay employees, who  can  then feed their kids... I guess you want the little urchins to be grateful for a crust, and maybe shoes from the profit they stole from you?

What an entitled imaginary world you live in!

Let's Look At The Facts

You apparently bought a tired, old used car which is WELL KNOWN to be a money pit to own and fix.  You bought the car "AS IS".  The warranty you did buy for future problems did not cover the transmission due to its age.  The dealer offered to fix the car at a 50-50 arrangement.

Does the contract YOU AGREED TO contain a clause which gave you the right to return the car?  Apparently not and that is what YOU agreed to.

Did you read over the terms of this "warranty" BEFORE you bought it to see if it covered a very expensive transmission repair?  You didn't do that either.

Did the dealership sell you a "lemon"?  Quite possibly.  However, if you would have been a smart consumer, you could have avoided this with step one being you don't buy a money pit of a car!
